- Fairly new Williamson by Weil McLain GWA-75 gas boiler that is turning off well before the aquastat high temperature set point. Another contactor condemned the temperature/LWCO probe - and we installed it at the clients request. Then we tested. Watch and educate yourself - as page 50 is missing from the manual!

Great video.Thanks.
What makes a great YT channel is first and foremost the personality on camera and then content. Mikey definitely has the personality. If a elderly person or elderly veteran needed a steep discount but wants no one but MP, would you do it say for cost of parts and let labor be written off?
Found a Heating Help discussion when I searched for the controller part number. Seems this is common that after a couple years the boards cut out at 140 F. And they only last a couple years when replaced. One commenter mentioned he thought it was in the temp control knob as he was able to get it to go to 180 but after it cut out on high limit it still didn't cycle properly.
Found a manual online, with the wires identified on page 32, lower right corner. But they still don't identify orange. White common, reds thermistor 1 and 2.
You could get a resistor decade box or just a few resistors so you can hook up the resistance for whatever temperature across the plug and see how the control board acts. or a variable resistor and then check the resistance with your meter.
Let’s go Bosch
Not sure if you checked but between every single video you posted so far you have more than 6.2 million views
@@PipeDoctor if you look into your UA-cam account you will see it
Mikey Pipes……..doing Gods work during this🥶 Cold spell. I’m sure your customers are appreciative of your work!👍
The manual never lies.
Thanks again for the videos!

Stay safe.
Retired (werk'n)keyboard super tech. Wear your safety glasses!
Hey looks like you do great work. Anyone you recommend to service NNJ
Mikey you have exactly the same number of subs as the grumpy plumber. 28.6
Tell the customer to change his battery and his smoke detector lol
They all are the same
Do you guys work on more Boilers or Forced Air Heating and Cooling Systems??
I know hot water is very efficient, but isn't Forced Are more economical since you can do Heating and Cooling with just one system.
What am I missing? Did you finally get the part? Did you change it? Did it solve the problem?
Space heaters / ovens are really stupid to use when there heating issues. I hope the next video will comment about what happen in the Bronx
👍
What were you going to do with the paper clip?
To many boards to carry. Good thing I have I heat in my house. Owner needs 2 boards one for next year. Good content
How people just ignore smoke alarm chirps is beyond my abilities
That 500 dollar service call was instinct but a 9v battery is way down the list for this homeowner LOL
That chirp is driving me insane
Lol the sell man of the year 😂 🤣 jk rock on
why didn't you show us the part where you replaced the probe?
Put Sensor in garage can and install L4006a and end the b.s. use instructions to raise temperature in room by lighting on fire.
have you notice they Mikey's Hat matches his Eye color 1:36
Yeah, bumps & long vehicles... I remember the back seat in the bus used to command a premium, if you wanted to *launch*!
I can't believe that the client ran out and bought a well.....I knew that wouldn't fix it....
Change their smoke/co alarm battery = safety issue!
127 Thumbs UP
I hope you tested the resistance of the new part with the control board disconnected, otherwise the board could mess with your readings. My money is on the wiring harness.
Nutrients balalalalalalalalalalala
Clean the boiler sensor to the left of the control or just put in a new one
Feed me Mikey feed me now LOL keeping your boots dry
Don't pick on us in Floridar, especially us in south Florida. where we only have to wear winter clothing 1 month out of the year. 🤣🤣😁
1st Comment
He took a week off during winter but he went to Florida LOL he didn't go to Wyoming
And I haven't watched his vid yet but came out today while he's on vacay
It's actually page 32. not 50 .. that drove me nuts
lol
WTF…………Can’t people clean up a bit before service people come over????
shh... he did....
Those control units are crap. Replaced 3 of them.
@@PipeDoctor guess the ones I’ve gotten were made on a Friday :(
Those boards usually fail stuck at around 140F max temp. You can usually get it to run up to the setpoint by fiddling with the temp. setting knob or rebooting the control, but the next heating cycle it'll be stuck at 140F again. I've never seen a failed temp. sensor on those.
@@baratono exactly.. I had a brand new fail within a month or so, and since I wasn’t a ‘professional’ installer, I couldn’t return. I wonder if the one with a digital display is better for the Weil mclains , but you need need that new harness, correct ?
