    Since I have just recently found you, I am binge watching some of your older videos. Love your charity shop finds and that you make a back story for the UFOs. I love scrappy quilts too. Although I am not into EPP yet, I do have a Lucy Boston book and love her quilts. Today while watching from California, I am busy working on a crazy patch block. Love hearing of your projects. Will start my Temperature Quilt soon.

    Rachel, I just found you today. I have watched several of your UA-cam videos. I like them all the same. Wish I could say I liked one better than the other but I can’t because they’re all just really good. I hope to resume watching them again later on this afternoon. All of your projects are just lovely. I love the colors I love the fabrics. I love the Crosstitch and the stitching on the mat with the flowers and the roosters. They’re all just lovely. I’ve done those kind of projects in the past many years ago and I think you’re inspiring me to try it again The quilt or should I say the Afghan you made is just lovely working on your quilt that you purchased repairing it is just really lovely. You will be very happy when it’s finished and you have it displayed in your home. I’ve been doing these things for a mini mini mini years and every morning I get up I come walking through my house and I see all the things I’ve made over the years. You will feel the same way years to come. What’s nice about it is you can see where your time has gone and what you’re doing with your life. Your life is young still and you’re starting out young like I did but when you get older much older, you will remember me telling you, how you will feel when you get up every morning and you come walking through your home and seeing all the things you did with your life. It’s very very lovely everything you’ve done.

    Lovely projects ! Ive been doing a review of EPP , looking for a project with hexis and diamond path! I bought an old project with pieced hexagons completed My thought was to make a small row quilt , separating the hexis with a diamond path. Ive only done some EPP in a class and I want to make some patterns with salvaged vintage fabrics I've thrifted . The premade shapes are pricey now, so I plan on using freezer paper to trace a template on then put in my copier to run off enough to finish 😉 It will be interesting to see how others have designed them and bordered ! 🎉

    • @annettegraff8323
      @annettegraff8323 Місяць тому

      Ps I cut the shapes out of freezer paper then iron on back of fabric Its removable as you proceed. It's great for needle turn appliques as well or machine embroidery!

Either hand or machine quilt. Have you watched The Last Homely House? As she has many epp videos. Also recommend a Facebook group called "English Paper Piecing" lots of advice and inspiration there.
