I don’t have this bike anymore but this particular seat was similar to a Saddleman whereas the seat was firm and the passenger portion was smaller and also firm. Fine for short rides but maybe not comfortable for longer rides. However, they do make the seats specific to a solo rider or a two-up rider. The specific two-up rider seat usually has a larger seat portion for the passenger that’s more comfortable.
Rad seat install brother. The extra seating area really allows me to stretch my legs when they get cramped. I gotta ask, are you running a Memphis Shades Fairing? I have the 2015 FXDWG and are looking for a great quality fairing.
Hi , nice video have a 2010 wide glide,looking at same seat,not daddy long. What is your verdict for now. Is it worth it,nice riding position and feeling. Any toughts. Gunnar /Norway
Convincing. I like the sides with the tuck and roll pattern saddlemen only does tuck and roll on the main seat. I feel like the saddlemen has a steeper angle in the back though
The Saddleman does have a steeper angle which I did like but it sits me to high and too far forward. I wanted a seat that sat me back 2 inches which is why I went with this seat.
I got these 14” rise bars off eBay and I got a Burly cable extension kit off eBay as well. Im actually considering going taller with 16” bars as my new seat puts me a little taller so the 14’s don’t feel as high anymore.
It’s ok. It’s only a little more comfortable than my stock seat. It’s nice to sit back further but what sucks is that it sits you up higher too which I don’t care for. Overall it’s a great seat for support, sitting back further, it looks awesome on the bike, but it’s not much more comfortable than stock.
@@DieselLegiance idk why all these 500$ seats are so god damn rock hard. I'm 6'2" have a FXR with mid controls soon to be FXRT and been looking for a seat for over a month. The tail whip looked ideal for passenger shorter rides but still looks good. I dont like my buddys saddleman with the flat back.
Sorry, I didn’t post one yet. I’m actually torn. I really like the overall look of the seat. It’s more comfortable to me compared to stock. What I don’t like is that it does sit you taller so for me I didn’t like that as I makes my 14” handlebars feel smaller like 12” bars. This may not be an issue for you but it bothers me which is why I may swap my seat for a different one or buy taller bars. My wife said it is slightly more comfortable and we can ride farther than we could before without needing to take a break but she said it’s still not a very comfortable seat for trips longer than an hour.
I’m 6”5 and I have a 99 wide glide and I’m trying to find a seat for tall guys for mine buy haven’t found one for the 99 dyna, anyone with any suggestions. Thanks great looking bike
So far, better than the stock seat but we have not had a chance with the crappy weather lately to go on a longer distant ride. It’s not a 100% improvement but still better than the stock seat she said so that’s good.
It does sit you about an inch higher (not a big fan) but does sit you back 2” with the Daddy Longlegs which I do like. Now that I am an inch higher I may consider taller risers for my bars as I like my hand grip location higher.
@@DieselLegiance im just a bit smaller than you and now I also sit with my legs not so stretched and same thing with the stock seat, its comfy and soft but on longer rides I feel it in my back. Just gonna await your review about the seat. Riding comfort and so
@@frank-7279 I lucked out and found one for sale in a Facebook Group, only cost me $180 shipped. Luckily, I sold the stock seat and a touring seat that came with my Dyna and made a profit....

I have the same seat with gold Stitching 2017 wg gold flame. I like it.

I’ve ridden it a few times but I need more time on the seat to really give an honest opinion. So far I like it but time will tell.
Don’t know if you still have the bike, but your big Bertha ass needs some taller suspension. I recommend 13 inch revo As from legends suspension.
