When I was a kid I used to have to call my parents on the regular because I would get stuck. God I'd give anything to play this again. I still have the CD-ROM 😂
There is an old video game website where you can download the game. It just requires a small subscription fee, but you still keep the game after the subscription is over. Navigating to the 2nd disk on a virtual PC is hard, but I could play the first 8 cases right now if I wanted to. And I bought it like 5 years ago.
"watch your back Julius!" So true! Also, watch out for Brutus, he will betray you! Looking back, Ivan Idea kind of reminds me of Bill and Ted "TOTALLY!"
I once did a report on Rome when I was in grade school, and I played this case before then, so I was able to look up info from outside sources and it was made easier thanks to what I learned from this. It's interesting how this is the first case where you can talk to a character who isn't essential to completing the case, and that's Justinian, since all he talks about is bathing and gossip.
When Danny Arrives in Ancient Rome, He’s greeted by Ivan Idea who was assigned by the chief to help Danny find out why Rome’s Amazing Water System has dried out.
This would be hard to do. The game only runs on 34 bit so you cant play it on windows 10 (meaning you also cant use a good high quality recording program)
hey..does anyone know where i can download this game from? i had the cd years back. im trying to download it but its some other version which opens up. do let me know if there is any kind of way i can download it.

"Well, watch your back, Julius"
Brutal😂😂😂
"watch your back Julius!"
So true! Also, watch out for Brutus, he will betray you!

PR52 I was thinking Wayne's World.
I got stuck in this part when I was little.
You don't wanna know how long it took me to pass that.
Actual hours
I don't remember how long it took me.
It's nothing compared to that level where you gotta choose the right kimono.
That was a total nightmare.
I'm having serious flashbacks right now
Ernesto87 Must've taken a lot of attempts for you to make on this one.
SAME! This level is the only reason I remember this game from 25 years ago lol.
Ivan Idea was my favorite Acme Good Guide!!!! Love that cool surfer dude. Kinda reminds me of Shaggy from Scooby Doo!!
Who wouldn't (in the right mind) listen to this B.A music over the radio! ☑🔱☑ ✔
👀
My god this brings back so many memories! I need to find this game again.
Priscilla Madrid
I recently found my old copy after a move.
Can't wait to replay.
DeluxBass Lucky duck! Hope its still a fun adventure after all that time!
I'm not sure I CAN replay tho. I had an old Mac, but my dad modernized it with an IOS update. :(
Is there anyway to buy it again? Love this game!

Plus he gives you a piece of the Carmen note
Ivan was my favorite character. My Brother preferred Rock Solid but I like Ivan's comical remarks

@98mikaelah not only did they have aqueducts but they had pipes too. And I'd consider anything carrying water "plumbing".
Well done fellows!!
I love the music :), I miss this game :(
I took a tour of Italy earlier this year and learned that archaeologists have determined that it is unlikely Roman drinking water had any lead in it.
Amazing game
Yes. Yes it is.
You might want to fix the quality.

tkatlavendier Well, that makes sense.
@@tkatlavendier3328 actually davezdragon meant that the other videos by this uploader are in 480p while this one is only in 240p
Can you make links to the next video in a playlist please? =3 thanx
Ivan idea, clever wordplay for I have an idea
@98mikaelah
Nope! You're not crazy. Everyone knows that his name is a play on that term.
1:52 Just watch your back Julius, foreshadowing his assassination
Et tu, Brute?
Yep.
what is the background song name?
Wait a minute...
Is that Rob Paulson's voice?

"Someone stole the city block which houses the forum."
HOW THE HELL DO YOU STEAL A CITY BLOCK?
Must be those Stonehenge guys.
Fun fact: soap was invented by the Vikings
Wow, you learn something new everyday.
Plumbing? I don't think aqueducts count as plumbing... (Also, "Ivan Idea"? Is that a play on "I have an idea" or am I just crazy?)
Mika Richardson You ain't crazy - Ivan Idea IS a playoff of "I have an idea", and aqueducts carry water, so they do count.
Yes, Ivan's name *is* a play on "I've an idea".
dip a what? in what? 0:43-0:46
rubius "Dip a toe in the po", whatever that is and/or means.
@@EntertainmentFan11 The pool.
