The delay in smell is to give people a chance to actually eat their kill before something comes along and takes it, which I find extremely nice because having ceratos roll up immediately after getting a hard earn kill was boo boo along with possibly dying instantly after making said kill because another predator just so happen to be nearby at that moment.

Apparently, you can't smell correctly when hanging off of trees/just climbing in general, saw someone mention it in the discord.
Also PS: you really don't need the fall height dmg mutation, herra can fall from basically every height, and even if it was tall enough that it can't, you have time to latch onto the wall and avoid fall damage, it'll also tell you if you'll die with the lunge icon being a snapped bone.

@@versui5606 so hanging off the tree the smell works the same for me, and the enlarged is a must I would have died or broke my ankle on the guy that pushed me in the water just gives me extra damage on pounces higher you are the more damage you do

High drop mutation you can drop from anywhere and take no damage as Herrera is it is recommended to take

@@toxicceoofcharisma Unless they have fixed getting stunned when falling further than you can without the mutation it is still a bad mutation to have unless you need it for some spots you will be using for the majority of your time.
The extra damage from the higher height wont really let you 1 hit kill things that would not have died from a 'normal' jump but getting stunned after a jump can easily get you killed and not being able to easily see if the jump is too high or not is a big disadvantage with the mutation.

let me explain the smelling "problem" the real reason why its like this its because it takes time before bodies actually are supposed to emit a smell. the longer they are dead for, the farther you can smell them from.
