- LOL, to my MBA's that are heated, relaxxxx. I'm one of you. As an MD/MBA I've been through some tough years. Accounting really is miserable! But the rigor of business school is nowhere near that of Medical School.
As far Vet's and Lawyers, I know y'all grind hard. Nothing but respect for everyone mentioned in this video. Even my business school friends ;)

@@FunnyParadox you test every 30 seconds and finally find a bug, to your surprise its quite easily fixed by just altering the code a bit, but this gives another bug, this one is right at the start, you try to remove the halfassed code, breaking everything possible, the damage is irreversible. You take a cold shower and cry yourself to sleep, knowing that the bug is still out there.

My mom was always up at the crack of dawn to pack lunch for me and my dad.. and then she went to her full time job as a graphic designer, came home from work at 6 and immediately made dinner and cleaned and got all the housework done while me and my dad just lounged around… my mom did so much for us.. never knew how difficult housework is until I moved out. 😅

I understand her now and try to help and pick up some of her work a lot more now as I have realised how tough her life is.

Been to pre-med school and shifted to accountancy. College in general is tough but there is just too much added pressure in pre-med and med school because you really have to aim to not make any mistake since those mistakes could kill someone. Right now in Accountancy it's challenging but I love it more than when I was in pre-med (felt so suffocated back then).

Lmaoooo💀 I’m pursuing a doctorate (Classics/Philosophy, definitely not STEM) and math and physics PhDs are absolutely apeshit buck-wild academics. Some of my favorite people in the world are math PhDs because they are just beyond insane, in the very best way. Definitely not to force anyone to compete against each other here, but if one side of a wrestling ring had a med student, a law student, and an MBA student, and the other side had a single Mathematics PhD student, I’d bet all of my money on the math PhD winning that fight. They may not be the strongest, they may not get good sleep, they may not socialize or eat healthy foods or exercise, but they’re crazy enough to win.
My dream is to be an accountant and live a nice life tbh. I’m close to my bachelors and planning to get my masters. :)))))

Study technology as it applies to accounting and business. The future of accounting is understanding both the security of data and the technology used by the buisness like an it professional in how to apply it towards the application of the future goals and needs of the company or client. As a CPA or an accountant in a managerial roll you will have to have a very high level of understanding of how to use and secure financial data and the person with this knowledge will always land the promotion or the client account. Most of what you are learning about AP and AR is automated to some level with modern accounting software. Start listening to the AICPA podcast, it's a very good reference on future trends and legal updates and keep up with continuing education courses. Good luck to you.

Just a 3-4 year BSc in Nursing would be harder than a degree in business/accounting. I’ve got a friend who changed from accounting to nursing, she’s forever going on about how much more stressful and harder the course is because there’s so much more information to take in and peoples lives are literally in your hands. 🙃

As a veterinary medicine student, I can confirm that we usually study about 10 hours a day on top of our 8-5pm class and lab schedule monday-friday 😅

In my opinion vet is the hardest but with less depth and responsibility compared to human doctor. There are like thousands of animals out there with different anatomy, different size, different needs, different temperament. One day they can handle a hamster and the next day they can handle an elephant. The patients also can't talk. Plus, do we have animal dentists? No, the vet does literally EVERYTHING. They risk their life handling animals 10x larger than themselves or animals that carry zoonotic diseases like rabies.

there are different types of vets, the exotic vet, the large animal vet, bird vet, cats/dog, and dont forget about underwater animal vets. but i understand what you mean, want to tell you this that way you dont take a snake or a bird to a dog and cat vet

@@Toaster33 in my place there are no specialist vets. The best they can do was divide the type into two, either it's a vet for livestock or vet for pets. And even then, the line is still blurred sometimes.
Technically there are veterinarians that specialize in dentistry specifically. While most GP veterinarians can do dental cleaning and extractions, vet dentistry specialists do everything from root canals, implants, jaw surgeries, etc. There’s a plethora of specialties in vet med that the majority of the public aren’t aware of

Accounting is what im majoring in so i know how difficult it is. But i think being a med student is more challenging especially the application part. I just don't trust myself enough to be entrusted with another person's/animal's life.

Minimum wage jobs are for people with literally minimum skill. That’s why trained professionals like doctors and pilots and so on get the higher wage. If you don’t want a minimum wage job you need and education

Accounting has pretty straight forward rules. MBA students have very little focus on grades and much more on networking and social events (especially at elite programs) as compared to something like a Macc.
Being in law school with a business background, neither schools have it the worst lol. Law school is genuinely a breeze if you know how to take the exams the right way. Very much a work smarter not harder experience.
I'm sure asking you this on a UA-cam comment thread is a long shot, but do you think you could elaborate about the right way to take exams a little bit? As a person in law school who is feeling extremely overwhelmed learning your tactic could be a lifesaver!

Accounting doesn't have straightforward rules 😂 I've studied accounting for like 5 years or so now (not main course, but a compulsory course) and it just gets worse each year. I was almost coerced into studying accounting for my major but I already hated it in secondary school, that's just mental suicide. Now it's not my major but I still do it.

Yeah, although I already quit studying it, It still hurts whenever I'm seeing people judging accounting as an "easy subject" because it's just "addition and minus". That's what THEY THOUGHT.
@@uhmokay5995 in my experience it shouldn't be this hard -I mean accountants irl use exels and etc. to do their work but in college we still need to do the calculations manually. And exams basically unanswerable unless you studied the problems already.
Irl I'm betting Med & Law field are way harder considering that a life is literally in your hands. But in school... Yeah... I mean look most of my prof are the types who just loves chaos with a bit tendency of being M and corporate slave. 🙈

I'm an accountancy student and we had business law in my second year. I can say that I certainly enjoyed studying law more than I study accounting related subject. Like, I guess I'm just dumb or something but I can't figure out how the problem works. I'm already in my third year now and still the same. And auditing sucks!
Every school here is hard, and everyone e who works really damn hard and wants to become a doctor/lawyer/vet is making great things. Every single one (yes, including lawyers) are going to save lives and make life better for other people/ animals . And this is what really matters.

While I fully appreciate and believe that every career has their challenges, I wonder if the people commenting about medicine fully understand the journey that becoming a doctor entails 💀 definitely years of sacrifice (10+), countless sleepless nights, exams every week, and entrance/ many board exams that are 8 hours long
Med has the hardest schedule, science/engineering has the hardest coursework. MBAs are something professionals get on the side of their actual job.
It's not about MBAs it's about accounting. I'm doing BBA which is undergrad and accounting is killing me already. Business school is no joke.

Hello, architecture here. I slept 6hr on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. And survived off 2-3 intervals of 10-30 minutes of power naps every other day of the week.
So I have an MBA and decided to make a career change into nursing, leaving all that cash behind, because I wanted to help people after seeing what healthcare workers went through during the last couple of years. Considered Med school, but didn’t want to put my family through that so went with nursing.
Gotta say, getting the ADN was worse than the MBA by at least an order of magnitude.

I know a fellow vet student that managed to get 8 hours sleep every night, and her grade is almost perfect.
The fact she is a goddamned genius who has always study things easily might also help

Try Ma in social work! Studying/reading psych/law/policy/placement and assignments....and you're expected to pick all your personal judgements/biases/prejudices apart daily in journals. Therapy without the time for a trained therapy session. And not becoming overwhelmed by all your life traumas! Or become an alcoholic!
I don’t think engineering or computers is as hard as medical..It was pretty fun for me whereas I have seen my cousins studying for 12-14 hrs everyday in medical..And they are way smarter than me..
Engineering is defo harder than medicine. Medicine is mostly just understanding and memorization whereas for engineering, you really need to crack your head to get a good grasp of abstract concepts.
Yes I don’t think computer is that hard and i love it since there is nothing like memorizing things

@@endritukaj9196 no lol 🤣 you see...for example, when you learn about the heart in medicine, you just need to learn about the heart and all its intricate, inner workings. You can directly see how the heart looks and understand and all you need to excel is remember it all. And to remember it all, you just need to keep studying and memorizing. Medical students study about body parts as they are. The people who create question papers cannot create new problems and ask about stuff other than what's in the body. But in engineering, that is not the case at all. There's a lot of abstract concepts. Take electrical engineering for example. You cannot see the electrical field or magnetic field with your naked eye. So, in order to get a good grasp of the workings of the field and how the concepts learned can be applied to solve real-world problems, you really need to spend hours and study in detail. And don't even get me started on the maths involved. There are just so many ways in which problems can be created to test engineering students. And this is just academics. I haven't talked about the applications. Applying what you studied in textbooks to solve daily problems at work is even harder and a whole different story. Just memorizing won't get you anywhere in engineering. So, engineering's definitely harder than medicine.
@@endritukaj9196 to survive in medicine, you just need to be disciplined and hardworking. To survive in engineering, you need to be disciplined, hardworking and have a little bit of innate intelligence to your advantage. Anyone can memorize. Not everyone can think well.
