I'd never go to the market for shit if I had his skills and money to do this. This isn't free he has put money into this shit right here you can tell but it's worth it 💜💜I loved this
@Sleepy Time Hunters for the Hungry website.
In east texas there was a program at a game processor I worked for that had a program called hunters feeding the hungry and people would shoot pigs or donate extra deer to be cut and wrapped for the local shelters
@@Wildwestwrangler Sounds like the one. It is an interesting story on how HFTH came to be.

Those Cajun boys are resourceful. Love the video
I wish I could live with you guys on a farm and I'll do half the chores 😁❤️😎 Nothin like living in the vast farms making your own food. You're blessed bro ❤️
Lol! Thanks for watching! Appreciate the support!
I spent my summers working on my grandfather’s farm: farming might sound idyllic but it is hard work. Great food though.
I love it that you take the time to share your wonderful food with all those people. More blessings to you and a lot more hogs to trap.❤️
Very nice traps you got there, here in europe wild pigs are a problem for farmers aswell. Nice cooking i´m looking forward to try this recipe
Man I love your style...so much respect for the animals
Thanks Sam! I appreciate you watching!
Man, you got my mouth all watered up for a plate of that. That looks DELICIOUS!
I love seeing men working and enjoying what they do.
Thank you! I appreciate you watching.
all the respect for not wasting a drop, and giving away meat. i'm sure they all appreciated it so much and fed those families
Whew, I can almost smell that through the screen. Have mercy!!! Texas
Lol! Thanks for watching and commenting

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one out there that could smell it over the internet. Man it been a long time since I had some good jambalaya
I’m a vegetarian but wow I would definitely eat that pork especially coming from the feral hogs you trapped and prepared. Great job and awesome video!
Thanks Daniel! That means a lot!
And they should kill of these hogs imagine them eating all your vegetables how can you still remain a vegetarian🤔
Wow organic meat
@@capturingimagination7924 ?
You'd be sick as hell.🤔🤣🤣🤣
I love to see a hunter use the meat they get. It is great way to control the pig problem and feed the family. Great video too. thanks for showing us how to do it.
Great to see them being used to feed the family. These hogs are free range and I bet that affects the taste in a good way
See hat the meat is very lean
Yep of course
Its good meat for sure, but its not the same as domestic pork. This man prepared the best way can to offset the stronger flavor and overall tougher cuts associated with feral hogs. If those dang things were more like farm oink, people would be really reducing there numbers. In my exp. They just dont make good chops,or ribs. Jmo
@@aaronkidd8932 but slow cooked stews .........
The meat was hard to chew because you dont know exactly how old it is
Those damn things are destroyers of everything in their path. Glad you're putting a dent in the population.
They are! I am doing my best! Thanks for watching and for the support !
Cows too? Some dude needs to figure out how to properly commercialize wild hogs so they'll be good for the environment.
@@peterjackson7473 They already are, but wild hogs multiply faster than anyone could commercialize them.
Thank You!
You are living the life many will never find!
This man has done good. Didn't waste anything.
I'm a fisherman and not a hunter but I definitely applaud your work feeding needy people. I'm definitely against big game hunting, I mean how hard is it to shoot a giraffe? I've been to Eastern Africa, those things are dumb as hell 🦒 But I'm all for hunting with a cause. Bravo Zulu gents👍🇺🇸🇬🇧
Lol! Well thank you! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
This guy's an artist how he carves that meat
He clearly knows what he is doing. I'd love to learn from him. With all them hogs running about he could open up his own assembly line! I know I'd pay him good money for the bags of prepared meat.
They look like they made for some might fine eating. Great video please keep them coming.
Thanks Ken! I appreciate you watching and commenting!
There is nothing better than eating in a crowd. A clean and well prepared meal. It looks so beautiful, buon appetito
Wonderful video. From the capture of wild boars to the cleaning of carcasses, to finish with a cooking recipe and its implementation! Bon appétit and friendships to Louisiana.
only thing i didnt like is how he threw that one dead boar into his truck, ik its dead and im all for hunting i do it myself but ya gotta show more respect
Thanks Julien! I appreciate that!
Watching this video made me extremely hungry! I wish I was there to enjoy some of that good jambalaya. Great video from start to finish! Wholesome food made fresh without chemical processing or artificial ingredients. Keep it coming 👍
Thanks Kevin! I appreciate your support!
Damn thats some clean skill. I like how you preped wild pigs
Thank you! I appreciate you watching!
You know it's authentic when he's wearing some Delcambre Reeboks with his short sleeve pants, and a Whitco hat!!! Love the video man, you got a subscriber outta me!
Lol! Thanks Robert! I didn’t even think about the boots till I sat down and started editing and I am like OMG I have those boots on!🤣Thanks for watching brother!
Sir, seeing you go about the whole process, godspeed, no waste, even straight giving a bunch away... it was an honor and I hope to be able to eat some of this irl once our borders are open again! 👍🏻🐖
Love your simple life..from Philippines with love
Nothing I’ve watched has ever made my mouth water like this has. By god
For years I have read about how the wild boars were destroying the natural environment. What a phenomenal service you provide for your community! It is my sincere hope that you experience success and prosperity in your trade.

I don't even eat meat but this was recommended to me and I really enjoyed this video. I have a of respect for someone who not only helps deplete the overpopulation of boar, (which in itself can cause a lot of harm to the environment) but also for someone who catches their own food!! That looks like a lot of hard work!! Great job!!
R u sure?
I wish our country, Philippines is like yours so I can experience catch and cook❤️
I’m not American and I don’t eat pork, but respect your way of living. Great video and that meal looks so tasty! Thanks for sharing
Note to all
You have to use parboiled rice. If you use regular rice, it will be a starchy mush
