Because ufc wouldn’t be where it is today without him and that’s a fact the guy was also the first 2 time champ. Cleared his division then beat a guy who was undefeated for 10 years in 10 seconds. Now I don’t even like mcgregor that much anymore but if you can’t recognise the attention/money he brought the sport with his trash talk and fighting style then you don’t know much in regards to the history of mma.
