For people who don't see the concept, the big open areas where you see people walking with very little to no cars is where we Americans have roads and see lots of cars driving. China has chosen not to build roads for cars instead forcing people to walk from area to area, making it feel like a community, damn good concept considering the number of people.

Guizhou is a most intriguing province in China. The capital city Guiyang is quite mind boggling. Guizhou is historically poor due to its mountainous terrain, climate and difficult transportation. In recent years China has invested substantially in building huge transportation infrastructures such as bridges, tunnels and rail links. What used to be its handicaps became features attracting investments such as large data centres and tourism. Understanding China is difficult with its diversity and history.

What you said is absolutely true. In the past, when people talked about Guizhou in China, they thought of it as a backward and poor place because it was full of mountains, making economic development almost impossible. But now that I’ve come here, wow, it’s nothing like I imagined. Also, visiting Guizhou in the summer is definitely the smartest choice.

@supafly7145 I'd rather live in China than in NY even if you gave me 10million dollars! I mean, wtf do I want to live in a place like NY where there's crime 24/7? Where there are 100s of serial killers and pedos active in just one city? Where Asians are beaten up just bc they're Asians? Where facilities are old dated and filthy (and not being taken care by the community)? Where I as a woman can't walk careless late at night without being harassed? Where the police will shoot you even if you were in a wheelchair (and police not getting charged for that)? Where rats are fatter than the people? Where drug addicts and homeless are everywhere? Where the schools check your kids if they don't carry guns with them to school? Where quality of education has become a laughing stock (for a country that is supposedly the richest in the world)? Where kids don't even get free warm(!) meals? Where I know that my kids would grow up with lack of morals? Where even kids are confused about their gender? Where my kids would rather have sex at the age of 12 than doing their homework? Where the amount of people living in tents are increasing? Where prices of everything keep increasing while the wages stay the same? Where there's piss smell in every alley you walk? Where there are loads of minorities but NO unity? Where the parcs are full of junkies or garbage or dog sjit? Nah, you can keep your "awesome" NY! I stick to China anytime! ☺️❤️🇨🇳❤️💃
