Do I have to change oilfilter for using new engine oil say motul.. I'm still getting 35_40 milleage. Will this motul help in raising milleage of my fz16
One thing I noticed you didnt filled oil in oil filter. You are supposed to fill it up first and after that put oil in engine. Becauseif you dont pour it in filter first youre egine will run without oil for few minutes and it can cause serious damage. ( i didnt see you filling it up on camera)

FZS v2 user manual says recommended engine oil grade is 20W-40. This being 15W-40 does not meet the recommended criteria suggested by the brand. Still, Motul offers - MOTUL 3000 20W-40 as their 150cc grade. Which is better to use other than Yamalube and why?
+Tirthankar Modak yes brother that's true. But oil level check is different for every bike. The oil mark should be to the max and not between max and min. Insufficient oil in engine may cause a he'll of problem due to improper lubrication.
Brother, the instruction manual of FZ v2.0 says not to screw it in. Actually if you screw it in, you may take the max mark. But the instructions are to keep it on the inlet and take the reading between max and min. I own a FZ v2 too :) Happy riding :)

The flying mechanic taking care of viscosity and API rating of oil means??. I use Yamaha sz r and I have been using motul 7100 10 w 50 every time Now after bout 2 years my clutch plates got damaged I have to replace them Is it becoz of 7100 or bcoz of 10w50? Or I shld have used a 5100???
Should be fine. I've been sticking to 1000ml for a very very long time and the bike is still running fine. It's about how frequent you change your engine oil (intervals).

Bro you have install oil filter opposite. The rubber portion is towards engine side and spring portion is outside.

Go-to 0:36 for engine oil. It is motul 15w50(for summer use). For winter 10w40 or 10w30.
Also you can use liqui molly engine flush to take out the carbon. Try it next time. Its good for engine.

Heat is not a problem with this oil.
I chose technosynthetic because I have to used mineral oil when I was on ride.

Wrong way of checking oil level. You should not tight it.

Drain bolt 12 mm ring or box spanner. Oil filter 8 mm box

you don't screw the cap in to check oil level. lightly place it and then remove it. the oil mark should be between max and min.
