How i built my intermediate base

Disclaimer: there is no right or wrong way to play the game.
I have found that this base works for me at what seems like an intermediate base. The deviations and the level of upgraded benches works to where the base starts to run well for basic resources. And in this way you are only going to settlements to scavenge for what you cannot acquire.

Great base building sir, how long did this take?

i know by the time i built this version i was at least lvl 45. but im sure i was well into 50hrs of playing and figuring the game out. if anything its more so how much of the map you discover that will help you build a better base since you'll need higher tier resources.
