"How did you make a million dollars playing poker?"
"I started with two million dollars."
Huge props for getting Hac Dang on here. He was an absolute legend on Full Tilt. Dude was one of the best in the Full Tilt glory days.
Great video - thanks for making it Noah
refreshing video from your other content, uncle Noah! thanks!
amazing video! Thank you for sharing!
Great Job! You've presented poker and how to make money at it in an authentic and realistic but exciting way. Not many people that aren't part of the industry are able to pull this off. Thanks for doing this. I have been following your channel for years and learned a lot about business.
When 50k boXing match?!?!
I heard austin is a great venue choice!!
Been in poker 10 years , agree with this comment 100%
Jnandez the poker legend
lol, if you really think you can get rich by poker or other gamlbing games such as fruit slots, you're effing delusional. In the end, the house always wins.
@@yitzhakgoldberg5126 in poker you don't play against the house.
Noah your videos are insane. Great video!
wow, actually a really solid video. well done sir.
The story about Hac and his little cousin pushing buttons on his computer 😂.
“Art of making decisions” loved that. Who said it?
This is a great video!
Great video... got to more of these type of videos
Cool video, thanks !
Happy to see a good representation of the poker community
Been playing PLO cash games for a living since 2019 and recently got into vlogging
Thought this was a pretty well done take on poker from someone outside the industry
I would say one aspect you should have mentioned is the difference in cash vs tournament pros
Cash games provide a more reliable source of regular income (I win 60-65% of my sessions) and you can play for a few hours or a bunch
While tournaments usually only pay the top 10%, are extremely top-heavy payouts, require you to devote 10-12 hours and generally are a much harder way to earn a living
Yes, you can certainly win a huge score in tournaments to catapult your bankroll, but that money has to carry you through all the losses until your next score
How can the WSJ artile they show at 4:42 be dated december 2022? Its october 2022 now...
Love this vid needed
That Hac dude sounds pretty cool ngl!
Great video, how is Dan F in this lmao
I don't know how to play Poker, but my friends like to play blackjack and most of the time make me the banker. So I learned how to 2nd deal and bottom deal now I win most of the time in 21
Bravo on including Phil Helmouth eating that burger, that happened just few weeks ago and it was big news in poker world....What is thattttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
I'm not really good at casino poker games. I usually play with the same ppl and do pretty good at that
Very cool noah
I am very very bad at emotions management (especially sad emotions), may be I can learn something form poker players
I love how the Wall Street Journal article is from Dec of 22 when is Sep of 22 now...kinda odd
Awesome video! Thanks for making it happen!
Saw you in the comments just wanna say my ROI has been going through the roof and I give you a lot of the credit. Keep doing what you’re doing man I’ve learned a lot from you! 🎉❤😅 And Brart Handsome too 🙃
@@mangohavoc6428 I'm glad to hear it! Nice work!
50$ pr hour,,,making 1mill ??,,, grind 8hours pr day ,it will take you close to 7years.,,,+ spending years.
great video, i watched it all, but you didn't really "ask poker millionaires how they got rich"
Underrated insight to the real poker world. 💯
5:56 tell that to luna holders lol
Great video. Re: LMNT - the page with your name is not working. Thx!
Some ppl have made millions of dollars doing a lot of various things. Real estate is an easy way. Passive income continues to help make more once you get to a certain level.
This is equivalent of asking a company only their gross revenue without taking into acct any expenses or costs. Those #s are meaningless.
Love you uncle Noah!
the pros are winning their big pots from rich amateurs buying their way to the table. You're almost never gonna see one pro simply out value another pro. They just trade blinds until they take all the amateur's money.
That edit of hellmuth biting the roast beef out of his sandwich 😂😂😂
😛
Lmaoo
Lol @chris moneymaker saying he plays lowers stakes tournament because he has a bigger edge, he hasnt won anything in the smaller stakes though, just got really lucky on the main event
“It’s 3 days in a row 12 hours a day” aye that’s my shift 🤣
Hi sir I'm kayal from india I need some help sir
Hi Noah
Moneymaker 11M? Idk where that # comes from, but def not +11M.
Shout out to Moneymaker tho…👊🏻
Holy shit Jared Bleznick
Great
Poker is not for anybody and everybody. Just like the American Dream 😂
Just do everything Jonathan Little tells you to do... easy peasy
Uncle Noah serving us some poker content, love it! So much to learn in this great game
You can't just rank poker players based on how much they've made in tournaments btw. I know people love to rank players and this is an appealing notion but it's absolute garbage. For one , winnings don't take account of buy ins for the tournaments. Most of the players on hendonmob are losing players. Then there's backers and the issue of cash games where wins and losses aren't recorded at all.

“Poker”
Super interesting!! Thanks Noah!!
What a fabulous and well done video. I can image how much time went into putting this together and finding poker players willing to share information. I didn't realize that in addition to making buco bucks, there is also life's lessons you could learn like "helping to make decisions." You keep making these videos. Very impressive!!!!!
Loved it! Do one about FX traders! 😃
or day traders in general like Dan and Lori from thechartguys
>buys fiji water
>pours sugar electrolytes into it
Mate great video.
Thanks Dan
It’s crazy how gambling is an influence
wow crazy seeing legend Hac Dang in this, very cool.
Amazing he’s so known. Love that guy.
Hey Noah! Would be super insightful to see/hear what a day in your life was like before you were rich? When you were still trying to get AppSumo off the ground. 👍
I’m still living like that for most part :)
Wait...Chris Moneymaker is considered a "professional" now?
lol yeah what? I thought this guy had completely vanished for over a decade now
loved it
I doubt Jonathan Little have any idea what he's talking about really
I'm going to assume that most of them got rich playing poker.
Fleshyman, moneymaker, and Berkey are fish tho.
Don't panic 🤣💗
It’s funny how I make more money live other than playing online , Online is riggd so bad
Any way I can find the full interviews with these players? Love to see the Berkey one.
Why do people think Phil I. is the best poker player?
If he never won the world series of poker?
If he has not won the most money in cash?
Moneymaker was an amateur when he won the WSOP.
That’s wild.
And he’s still an amateur.

How to be a millionaire in poker......
Start with a billion
Wow you got one of the Dang brothers? ♥♥
Love those guys. Known them for years and had NO clue they were so successful. Extremely humble.
@@noahkagan Wow! That's amazing I've been a fan boy of both of them forever. I remember they did some home interview long time ago. They had a Tekken wall paper. Baller.
I love this! 🌸🍃 Will share it everywhere! 😊 So fun!
1:46 the guy that won this hand was cheating
Where you source the earning list, it clearly not just tourneys

Most are losing players, but if you learn GTO and have the patience to play as you should, you can become a winning player. Poker is the only profitable card game IMO.
But most importantly, love the game.
I think you are misinterpreting poker and GTO. A human simply cannot replicate GTO, therefore just mindlessly thinking playing GTO (when you clearly aren’t) is winning against others who aren’t playing close to equilibrium either is just conflation of the idea and conjecture. You don’t just “learn GTO”…

Great vid. It's nice to see our poker world shown in a positive light. I'm curious about this LMNT stuff now
I used to study poker when I was 13yo. Bought over 10 books and studied like crazy.
I earned thousands of dollars. It was a good money for a 14-year-old kid.
I stopped playing at 16-year-old when I became a Christian and threw all the books in trash 🗑️
It's quite easy to make money with poker if you know what you're doing but I think it doesn't provide much value for the society. That's why I chose a different career path
You could've been a millionaire and donated all of it to charity. Nothing un-christian about playing poker.
@@speedfastman I prefer being a millionaire doing legit business rather than playing poker.
I feel like poker is too much related with the lifestyle that's not good: Drinking, drugs, women, etc.
@@LearntoMakeHonestMoneyOnline so be the example 😁 Your occupation doesn't have to dictate your lifestyle. But the money would give you more options, and you could set an example for young ones wanting to try poker (discipline, respect yourself and the game, be aware of greed, etc).
@@Sportsvee No that's not what he means.
He doesn't want to be a poker player in general, since it's a waste of time for him in his perspective.
It's like getting a millionaire by selling Dildos, that's not what I would want my life to be or to be known for.
@@krztix he said at the end that he threw it in as it didn't provide anything to society. But I'm saying you could use it as a vehicle to provide positively in other ways. Their choice at the end of the day.
And as for your example, if it was between that and not being able to provide for your family, I would hope you would sell that product.
They hit Quads with a Mil in the pot.
No Doyle, none of the triplet of Phil’s, no Daniel, no Tony G, no Tom Dwan, and for those reasons I’m out.
Great job Noah. Not often outsiders can present poker in a realistic and informative way. 👏🏼
Awesome video
Hilarious title
I've always thought people who play poker professionally are so cool!
Does Noah replies?
No
pretty cool stuff. but yeah...no. odds are if your the average joe watching this video and decided you want to give this a go you would likely go completely broke before you become rich from playing the game.
Not if you take time to study the game and start with low/microstakes games. I started playing a month and a half ago and made 80 euros so far. It's doable for sure.
@@speedfastman yeah I don’t wanna discourage you but this can easily be due to a heater. Starts at 100k hands that you can say anything much about if you’re a winning player or not, really don’t think that just because you made some money in the beginning this says something about your level of play. But yes it is possible to make money playing poker.
Did u just ambush me with an ad? bro, chill
It's called a segway.
moneymaker is a fish lol
If you don’t do something about your financiaI situation, your income remains unchanged while expenditures keep rising. These got me seeking the best answers to lnvest my *50k $.* Any ideas here?
I’ve always been fascinated with investing and I need to start now. Could you possibly give more information about the lnvestment ProfessionaI and how I can reach out?
Great stuff! Got it.
Most successful people seek the knowledge and experience of Professionals who help them tackle issues relating to wealth management and growth but might claim to achieve success themselves without any help.
I know Anna Kristine as well. I’m happy I saw good recommendations about her here. Anna has helped me manage my lnvestment for some months now and to be honest it feels good when you are with the wining team. I will keep Growing with Anna.

Phil hellmuth is better then Berkey.

If Leonardo di Caprio is the most famous actor of all time. My name is Kevin
Chris Moneymaker is always a class guy with the good advice swallow your pride and take very advantage you can
Listening to Moneymaker made me laugh. I played in a private game with him in the early 2000's. He was the 2nd worst player in the game and he got felted twice.
sure thing buddy
@@andrewmcgill884 i believe him 100%. In early 2000's nobody knew how to play poker well but that doesn't mean they weren't profitable because most the other players were even worse.
@@andrewmcgill884 not sure if he was the second worst but he's funny they're trying to make it seem like he's a poker pro. he's a super nice guy and has made a lot of money from poker endorsements but he's not making a living from playing .
a lot of these “millionaires” aren’t millionaires
Yes! I love poker! Appreciate this, thanks! 🙏🏼
Lol at Moneymaker. Guarantee he’s lost a good chunk of his main event win.
Answer: by playing poker.
