Been playing PLO cash games for a living since 2019 and recently got into vlogging
Thought this was a pretty well done take on poker from someone outside the industry
I would say one aspect you should have mentioned is the difference in cash vs tournament pros
Cash games provide a more reliable source of regular income (I win 60-65% of my sessions) and you can play for a few hours or a bunch
While tournaments usually only pay the top 10%, are extremely top-heavy payouts, require you to devote 10-12 hours and generally are a much harder way to earn a living
Yes, you can certainly win a huge score in tournaments to catapult your bankroll, but that money has to carry you through all the losses until your next score

You can't just rank poker players based on how much they've made in tournaments btw. I know people love to rank players and this is an appealing notion but it's absolute garbage. For one , winnings don't take account of buy ins for the tournaments. Most of the players on hendonmob are losing players. Then there's backers and the issue of cash games where wins and losses aren't recorded at all.
