Woodturning an Easy Christmas Ornament
Вставка

- This Ornament is made using a piece of leftover maple branch.
“Many of the woods I use are from trees that have been cut down due to disease or to make way for construction. This is wood that would otherwise be burned or end up in a landfill.
To me, it is exciting to find the hidden beauty in a chunk of wood. Even a very plain piece of wood offers design opportunities. When working with plain wood, I often enhance the wood by carving or burning. My carved and burned designs mimic textures and patterns found in nature.

Class bit of woodturning Heather
Thank you so much ❤️
Nice one Heather ! You made those 2 hard operations look so simple. Thanks for sharing. Take care. -Mike (p.s. deep parallel plates and a sphere)
Thanks Mike! I really appreciate it 🙏
That’s a very nice design Heather! Well done 😊 Ho ho ho!
😀Thanks Todd
Vous n' êtes jamais à court d'imagination et c'est toujours un plaisir de vous voir tourner et créer de belles choses. 👍
The hard part now is using my imagination to figure out new pieces to turn without repeating things 😂 thanks for watching ❤️

Thanks Billy 😊
I like it. Looks great!
Thank you 😊
Lovely work and video. You had me on the edge of my seat parting off. Thanks and happy holidays.
Thanks Uncle Mike! Hope you didn't fall off!
Hi Heather, it looks as if I'm the first one watching this.
With so much nice decorations it will surely be a merry Christmas! 😎
Thanks Leo! 😊
As always, a cracking and relatively simple project, what a fantastic shape, beautiful 👍
If you parted to the same depth each time, then you'd have a sphere within a sphere ... even better, cut a concave curve for the parted bits, would look like an apple core with rings round it ... I can send a few pics to making it easier to understand 🤣
Yes please! Send pic's! I think I know what you mean about the first one, but not quite sure about the second!

Nicely done - simple, attractive Christmas tree ball.
What is the material sprinkled on after spray finish ?
Thank you! They were just sparkly sprinkles!
