I added the Topping Pre90 preamp to my LA90D mono's and wow.. increased the soundstage, depth etc. check the reviews. Also, try speakers that add some tone. I have Kef LS90, R300 (non meta's) and Harbeth P3ESR. The P3's are magical with a highly detailed amp. The Kefs are kind of bright

i picked up a 1978 SANSUI AU317 with a Tu217 tuner here recently for around $500.00 and the sound is so good compared to my newer PIONEER VSX- LX503 it's not even close!
i would never have thought something that old could compare to it! oh i have them both hooked up to a set of 1973 SP-X8900 SANSUI speakers i run jumper wires!
i use those speakers for my front speakers on my home theater!! lots of bass ! the speakers are rated at 100 Decibles with 1 watt at 1 meter! you have too hear it to belive it!!
Great shirt and great review as usual young man! I think they missed the boat by not having an RCA input. My beloved 1983 Harman Kardon integrated amp is dying and my amp and receiver bullpen is getting low. I may have to think about a low cost Class D amp in the future. I never considered Class D before but you and several other trusted sources like them. And the British Audiophile picked the Fosi Audio V3 as his best amp under 1000 dollars.

RCA inputs should be banned from audio, it only brings problems like ground loops and noise, balanced inputs are a much superior option, and nowadays it is not even much more expensive

The L-shape cable included is for using this amp in mono mode and not for 12V trigger...
Very difficult to properly compare the sound samples given that speaker positions changed between amplifier setups.
The speaker positions and microphone positions did not change between setups. The volume was also leveled between the amplifiers. The photos just illustrate how the amplifiers look with the speakers.
I hv RX50 and im using 5.1 at present. But while watching movies or series lik Reacher in prime video I hardly hear frm my surrounds!! I calibrated also. Im svs prime elevation fr surrounds. Is tat nythng i need to do for this!? Coz i dont hear anythng frm surround barely whispering low volumes..
Cambridge used lm3886 this is the reason the differences, it may be good amp till it work, no guarantee how long it will work, it is Chinese quality labelled themselves as good system till it work
I am not very convinced that the volume are same to both amplifiers. As I can see, Topping is push higher, for having a better resolution mean while Cambridge is let to low volume for the opposite results.
So, what kind of demo test is this?
Does it have subwoofer control? If so multi or single, if so does it cost more or is it included ?
No sub control.
