I lived there for three years and 2001 Boston Marathon was the first ever marathon race event I watched live, I was there in Copley Square and love every minute of it and it got me to start doing running. Thank you Peter Berg for making this film, it is something we have to remember. Not the hate but the love. Not the horrific explosion but the unity. #bostonstrong
These guys are on a roll. Every real-life tragic event they've covered, has honored the victims, and survivors. I might be slightly biased because I was an extra in this movie.. but I think Patriots Day is their best Collaboration so far. Not only that... but it represents my city beautifully. BOSTON :)

To get a rhetoric about what actually happed behind the scenes at ground level was a real eye opener and emotional trip! one of the best movies ive seen in recent times.
Wahlberg seems very uncomfortable given the persisting lump in his throat. That he does not look directly at Charlie Rose when answering his questions, that he often fishes for more time to answer questions... "Well, look..." makes a person wonder what Wahlberg knows.
By God People stopped with the stupid conspiracies theorys and all the negative comments. This movie showed how all of us United can be stronger it showed how love will always win over hate how if are all United and filled with faith we can all be strong. I Pray more people Gets to see this movie just do they understand this Message
There are some scenes in this film I have an issue with when actors are making jokes during serious life threatening events. This has always annoyed me about Hollywood, and I see it as an exploitation of a tragedy. I prefer documentaries over theatrical re-enactments like this. I would assume that some of the proceeds of the film were not donated to the victims families? The film “Flight 93” was done the right way.
It's not necessarily government sponsored so it's not propaganda, but patriotic stuff sells tickets in America, that's all. Those kinds of movies definitely have a propagandistic feel though lol
Well at least the movie looks more realistic than the hoax version. But really, actors playing crisis actors. It's like staring into a hall of mirrors. We are living in a carnival.
