In my opinion Lucy is currently one of the best female singers in the world. I highly recommend that you react to her duet with her younger sister Martha to the song "The Prayer" it's truly angelic. Also her latest performance of the Barbra Streisand song "Evergreen" which is really stunning. 😀🏴👍

She has taken on ALL the Divas and smoked them, Lucy made it to the semi finalist on UK kids in 2018 as a 13 year old and was immediately picked up by Chris Broom of Cavendish records who saw her skill and talent and signed her to a record contract, she has about 60 songs recorded on 4 CD's and is working on her 5th as well as co producing and starring as the lead singer in the upcoming west London musical ROSIE set to open fall 2024, it was delayed over two years by the covid lock down, but back on track. Her originals for ROSIE as dress rehearsal are BROKEN DREAMS, and a Choir, WE THANK YOU LORD at 18 and at 15 STARLIGHT, SUDDENLY, GENTLE BREEZE, and ONE DAY, some of her covers are HALLELUJAH, MEMORY, AT LAST, EVERGREEN, and an original theme song for an unnamed TV series, BRAND NEW DAY. there are plenty to choose from and as a bonus Lucy has a 5 year younger sister, Martha she duets with that are to die for, WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD THE CLIMB THE PRAYER, WHEN YOU BELIEVE. All are stunning and worth the look/listen, never heard of you before I gave a listen and IF you do more of Lucy or Lucy Martha will subscribe, as long as you are not just a "One and done" with Lucy. Every time I listen to this, and I’ve listened to it many times, I am moved to tears. This is a masterpiece. And it’s not just the absolute perfection of the vocalisation but the way Lucy presents it is just totally captivating. If someone can point to a better performance than this please tell me.

She does duets also with her younger sister Martha, who also has a beautiful voice. They've had a solid upbringing with great character values and personality traits. Lucy signed with Cavendish Records of London at age 14. She lives in Wigan, GB. She and Chris Broom of Cavendish have been working on a musical production called "Rosie" for the past few years (Covid got in the way), which Lucy will perform in the title role at London's West End Theatre in 2024. Great reaction from someone on their first review of Lucy. I can tell you that you ain’t heard nothing yet if you keep listening to Lucy. Every song she records is always perfect. With this somehow softness that touches your soul. But with the softness comes with a powerful voice. I like to say that Lucy’s voice is like the finest chocolate in the world. The size of the bite doesn’t matter because it is always Rich and Smooth. My best advice to you Sir, is to go to Lucy’s channel and listen to some of her recordings. I already wrote a comment. I would like to add another one. You said she was semi finalists in UK voice kids in 2018. I checked, a week ago. All the participants, including the winner , became : nobody.
Some have few UA-cam subscribers, some diseaper, particularly the winner... Are these shows really connected to reality????
Lucy is the only one with a superstar career in front of her. An another participant of this show : Will Callan , became a very good friend of Lucy. They did together one or two very nice duets. If you want to know more you will have , as I already wrote, to go into the rabbit hole....and explore Lucy's wonderland
The piano in the video bridge is very nice. Also, the video of the solitary person walking on the beach, really emphasizes the loneliness that this song is about. Very powerful.

Yes she absolutely nails it! As a 19 yr old she has this incredible maturity in her voice to take songs from decades ago n own it. Can I please suggest you watch her do EVERGREEN and “ The Way W Were”. Yes her voice is so impeccably smooth , soft, gentle n then she just pumps it up till she explodes with total control into that high pitch range . I’m almost 70 so I’m that time I’ve heard many great singers like Streisand, Dianna Ross, Celine Dion, Carly Simon, K D Lang, Dione Warwick, Whitney Houston n many more BUT… I have to say I’ve never heard anyone sing with such maturity in her young years n command my ears to her music. This young lady is destined to become one of the all time greatest singers. I’ve never written such praise for any other singer so I hope I don’t put a mock on her . I believe as she aged she will even be able to bring a little of “ razz or rasp” in her voice in a different depth. She has everything going for her, her looks, her grooming n her voice. She is like an Angel from heaven with a gift from God to please our ears. Simply Brilliant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍
Lucy is amazing voice control she is the best vocalist pitch perfect beautiful inside and out her self.
One thing that really shines her is Lucy's vibrato. In the full-on belt reaching high her perfect vibrato is there and really impresses. To me her vibrato seems to really standout under power.

Yeah, "Evergreen" by Miss Lucy Thomas is on another plane........wow, vocals that are layered, very rich, and her notes are held perfectly, vibrato pulled out those lyrics and single words beautifully and so artistically mastered........a lot of emotion as well,, powerful, passionate.........I used to think Barbra had the best version of "Evergreen" ever........apparently, I was wrong!

There will be so much energy, aura, and a vibe in that theater venue in the West End theater district next fall of 2024 that will be overwhelming! I believe part of the reason you felt it was softer has to do with Lucy's voice. It's got a lot of depth to it which makes it sound a bit softer. However when she really jumps on something her pitch and power really show through.
Michael, just watched this again. Another thing about Lucy is her super vibrato. It really shines when she cranks up the power. To my ears it is symmetrical and even and stays right on key. Wow!
There are many interpretations of this song, and of course it is always a matter of taste which one you prefer. I like Lucy's version. She is a very talented singer even at such a young age and makes the songs her own. She has a younger sister Martha who also sings. There are some duets with Martha on her channel.
But she's copying the most famous version Céline's dion!!!

Michael, sometimes I like to react to the reactor. Your body language says a lot. Right after the second phrase there's an almost imperceptible smile which tells me you just got pulled into this performance and got hooked. Then just before the first main part of the verse you said "let's see, let's see" but nope, no explosion here. Lucy does not copy but covers a song making it her own (which you acknowledge at the end). Shortly after that your eyes popped, eye brows went up and out came the first "WOW!" that would escape your lips; followed by many more wow's. Lucy has a way of causing reactors to say wow. Then after the piano bridge the explosion of the main refrain came followed by a HUGE WOW! from you. She literally left you shaking your head for the rest of the piece. Your face tells it all. Sorry but I get a kick of watching the reactor's face. Yours mimicked my feelings about Lucy's talent. WOW!😀
Lucy Thomas has in all probability one of the finest voices on Earth, and she just turned 20 years old. Lucy's voice will take an other 10 years to mature, she is about at the top of the world now, can you imagine what she will be like in 10 years when her voice matures?
Lucy Thomas doesn't copy music... she improves it. Lucy has the most dynamic vocal range of any singer in her generation. She never runs out of pitch, breath, or vibrato regardless where she starts on the scale. Typically she will come up 1/3 or more multiple times by the end of song. Her crescendos are legendary.

This just popped up in my feed but that was quite the enjoyable reaction. It's from 3 years ago when she was just 16 but if you haven't already, definitely check out what is rapidly becoming my favorite version among so many of the iconic Leonard Cohen song, Hallelujah.
Possibly the best rendition of a song that I’ve ever heard. And those eyes- reminds me of what I noticed in Mariah Carey the 1st time I saw her sing Vision Of Love.
I think Lucy is the best. She is pure and genuine. Lucy does not need to use any gimmicks or flaunt her body. Her voice is gold. And her inner and natural outer beauty is a rarity in the world today. Lucy is in a class of her own.
Lucy gives a master class in making you wait for the big notes. She understands that by keeping the songs softer, in the beginning, that the bigger notes hit like waves crashing onto the shore. She is the best.

Take a look at her rendition of "Hallelujah" which has had over 42 million views on UA-cam and for the best version of "The Prayer" a duet with her younger sister Martha. Lucy's latest video is Procol Harum's "A whiter Shade of Pale"

Michael, not trying to flood the comments but I noticed something about her videos. Even if it's only a bust or head-shot her body language on what you can see shows that she embodies the piece as she throws herself into the rendition. Here, it's her clenched fists that she pulls down for emphasis showing how the lyrics are saying "I'm tired of being all by myself". No one does what Lucy does!

Sorry Fable but you cannot compare Lucy to AJ as Lucy is 10 times the singer AJ is, Lucy is in a class by herself and she has had about 12 years of training with a pro voice coach. Lucy sings the high notes not screams them and as you saw has the QUALITY in her powerful, deep and wide range of clear clean singing, she does not have to rely on all the vocal gymnastics, or weird noices, Lucy can flat sing !! !
Wilbur, I think Lucy came very close to her max high on the very last note, putting my saying to the test. Otherwise, this was beautiful and right on the money.

Don’t even try to out Angelina in the same class as Lucy. Angelina cannot sing without auto tune. With Lucy, she has perfect pitch. No computer program to make her sound this good. It’s all class and skill.

Is it just me, but I don’t rate nor even like Angelina Jordan. Sorry! Lucy Thomas is in a different league and far superior in my listening opinion. Even better than Celine. Whether Angelina has some technical ability is pointless if it sounds bad. Granted I’ve only listened about 5 Angelina efforts but they to me anyway, were all terrible and I wouldn't listen more. Lucy sings like an angel, but I suppose it’s personal taste.
