Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Organ Trail for PC developed by The Men Who Wear Many Hats and published by The Men Who Wear Many Hats.
Organ Trail is a zombie survival game, wherein one must cross the zombie infested United States to reach sanctuary. In this game one is a member of a party of six individuals, and travels across the US in a station wagon. The main objective of the game is to survive the journey. The station wagon is subjected to wear and tear and the party members are susceptible to various illnesses. Throughout the game one must manage supplies in order to keep the car functioning and the party members alive. When traveling in the station wagon, the player must deal with randomly generated events, such as party members getting sick or the car taking damage. These issues must be addressed when one reaches the next city.
This video review features video gameplay footage of Organ Trail for PC and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Jon. - Ігри
Brings back memories of Oregon Trail. Everybody dies of dysentery!
Wait a minute... I thought I got confused... "this game is certainly different from what I remember in class!"
Excellent retro launch title on the OUYA and is really what the OUYA is all about. A good indie game which will never see the light of day on the mainstream. Most people don't have their PC on their TV so I see the OUYA as a good companion to the mainstream.
how ironic hearing about that monstrosity now
Just click on the zombie you want to shoot, hold the mouse button, drag the cursor to your rifle, release: dead zombie every time. Ignore the aim assist.
And you don't actually have to put down companions who've been bitten. The only thing that changes is their health meter drops slightly faster, but rest or a medkit will heal them up just as well as a non-infected. Actually, I think you get a higher score at the end for bitten companions you kept alive than for healthy people.
I miss you bro.
Makes me wonder if we will see retro style sierra games again.
How appropriate that Batman was in the car with you. You sound an awful lot like Bane from Dark Knight Rises.
Well, you *are* the expert. Remember last week. Fun times, baby.
A zombie rts game would be amazing. You could play as a horde of zombies or as a army of humans within a fortress base. Playing as the zombies you could use special zombies such as fat ones, ones that shoot projectiles, and super strong zombies. As the humans you could defend the fortress with soldiers, vehicles, and turrets.
He sounds like a ball of meat in gravy?
That's amazing.
Think of it like rubberbanding or slingshots, you pull back to fire. Once you put it in the right mind the aiming troubles aren't bad. I bought this game awhile ago and enjoy it :)
There are already Zombie RTS games on the market.
Not really my type, but this game looks pretty good. I do wonder why the made the aiming so difficult though, should have made it so that you click your character and then drag to the zombie. I will have to show this to my friend, he is pretty sick of the zombie scene, I think he will appreciate a different take on it.
Nice review too, lots of people don't seem to like Jon, but he did an alright job here.
what! this isn't- OH! "OR - GAN" trail
I would totally play a Zombie RTS.
That voice...ITS GENERAL LOTZ!!!
So do you.
You don't have to put down an infected person.
You're right. This isn't Oregon Trail. It's Organ Trail.
You and I should do it this weekend. I'm jealous :3
OH MY SWEET LORD THIS IS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111
He's so fucking smug.
Thish guy shounds like Shaun Connery. He should work on hish voish.
I know this was years ago but his aim was terrible. It definitely takes a little bit to get used to but it's not that hard.
Genrel lotz
Why does this guys always emphasize -_- lol

who the fuck is this
You're trying too hard.
The dialogue is fine, but the delivery is painful to listen to. Maybe if this guy stopped trying to sound like a stereotypical English gentleman I could actually watch his reviews.
Can't stand his voice, especially can't stand the way he says "Bloody." Bro, it's an L after the B, not a Y.
Terrible voice.
