Your closing comments on this video were heartfelt...........I'm wishing you the very best in Portland. Thanks for giving so many of us such incredible views of Germany!
Germany did it to me as well. If I ever come to the USA I'd be coming to Portland for the Gorge Festival. I have loved your positive videos and hope that you will make videos about Oregon.

Thank you for this awesome video of my home country. Germany means Heimatgefuehl for me which describes the emotion of feeling at home. Our child says where we live at the moment is our home (Zuhause) but the real home is Germany (Heimat). By the way one can see that you are really sad about leaving Bavaria, the sadness shows in your eyes. Hopefully one day you get a chance to come back for a couple of years or even get to retire in the Oberpfalz like an American friend of mine! Andrew, this video really opened my eyes to seeing things in a different light. Thank you for this beautiful and heartwarming video and showing this fairly unknown side of my home. Most people focus on big cities and nightlife (and there's nothing wrong with that). But it is refreshing to see how you enjoy those sides that most would overlook. The countryside has so much to offer and it really took me living abroad to finally notice that.
Awesome and inspiring video dude. Amazing story and message!
Greets from Munich :)

It's always great to find a video of someone who goes to another country or immerses himself or herself in another culture and shares their delight.
Just came to the Burg for a walk! Thanks for inspiring us!!
Wow! You blow my mind and touched my heart with your letter!❤
It has been an honour to had you in Germany.
Hope, you had a chance to also go to Schlammersdorf and pay a visit to the Püttner brewery.

I just discovered your videos. Nice. You’ll be back to Germany before you know it. I’ve been returning to Germany over 25 years. Thank you for sharing your video.
I've never watched a video from you before but this one brought already little tears in my eyes... :) Watching a few videos like this, gave me a new perspective of my own country. Thanks and be well. Greetings from Illertissen :)

Dear Andrew, thank you so much for your view. I am looking forward to my next trip home and I hope I will find your journal up at the ruins. Good luck to you
Thanks for watching! Hope it's still there when you get there. I'm curious to see what people will write in it, but I guess I'll never know.
What a beautiful piece of art to say thank you...we should thank YOU to remind US of what nice places we have in our little country and to be grateful for that...
That was so beautfiul! Thank you so much.
Auf Wiedersehen 😢 Alles Gute 😊 Dankeschön für all die wunderbaren Videos👍 Come back soon🇩🇪
Also some local TV stations are looking for staff in video and film production from time to time...OTV is one of them..good luck in Portland, good luck with your video production career!
People like you are always welcome in our homeland! Good luck for your next habit! Greetings from Cologne!
Dear Andrew, I really love your video and it‘s message. Keep up your good spirits and have a great start in Portland! Don‘t forget Germany and come back some day... Best of luck for you! Hardy
Omg, this is a so touching and meaningful video. Thank you for your story with Germany, would like to be there one day
Nice video. Hope you coming back one day. Waldeck is near the place where i grew up and lived for 7 years. Glad to see that again.
Great videos Andrew, I live in the UK and now I really want to visit Germany! Good luck with your next move to pastures new.
Thanks for the wonderful Videos, and come back soon.
I felt the heart felt words ! It is a pleasure to meet you at service credit union!
Safe travels!
Thanks Donna, Glad we met as well. Wish you the best!
Thanks for your nice Videos, God bless your life!
Andrew, you give new meaning to "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Thank you for your kind eye on my country. What a great gift you give. Oregon will be blessed to have you and please always feel welcome in Germany.
I'm happy some people appreciate it like you do. Thank you for the feedback and warm words :)
Auf Wiedersehen 🖐🏻. Es war schön mit dir! Bis bald.
5 months without a new video from you have been tough! Seems like I am addicted...
Good Bye Andrew, It was a pleasure meeting you several times. I can't wait to see how well you put Portland on the "small screen" here. Best wishes on your new adventures.
Thanks Les, it was great to meet you too!
Auf Wiedersehen! Meaning: till the next time we see each other again!
Thanks for taking us on your journey and let us see our country through your eyes! I loved every video! Have a safe trip home, take care, and be back soon!
Andrew, this video really opened my eyes to seeing things in a different light. I have been going to Nursing school for 2 years, recently things didnt work out and I found myself having to close the door on that dream. Now my husband and I need a little change and decided to look for jobs in Germany and live abroad for a while. I'm hoping we get lucky and have a chance to live there. Where one door closes, one opens! Thanks for reminding that things sometimes happen for a reason.
Wish you the best of luck Maria! I hope you get to go and experience Europe. Thank you for the kind words. It means a lot to me to read comments like this.
Andrew, keep making Videos! Love your style and the message they carry.
Would have love to meet you in person some time here in Germany. So sad you had to leave.
Thanks for letting us see our home in a new perspective, with many more details and not take everything for granted.
Take care and all the best to you and your family
Thank you for the kind words Sebastian. Maybe I'll be back someday and we could get a beer :)
Wow, Beautiful Countryside

It's is important to learn from each other. I wish you a wonderful time!

Nice that you had a good time here. All the best for ur future.
Your videos were the first I found when I wanted to find out about Germany when I was getting ready to move here. You have a great talent in shooting and editing. Thank you for your amazing videos and good luck in your future!
Thanks Danny. There were very few videos out there when I was researching before my move there. That's why I originally started making them, so I'm glad to help :)
It sadden me, to lose a valuable member of our society. Wish you the best for the new part of your life.
That's really nice. Thank you :)
Sad to see you are already leaving us. I would have loved to show you my home town and some parts of our history, even Roman one.
I loved your videos and your positive and open attitude, and will continue to follow you on your journeys here. All the best!
Next time! Thank you Thorsten. Wish you the best as well. Hope to hear from you in the future :)
Ach, ne! Tschüss... und pass auf dich auf!
Glad you had fun in my home country...
You were not too far from where we live - Kreis Forchheim - so we understand why you love the area so much. I think you'll be back, it will draw you here.
Thank you for your impressions and your thoughts on this, which you have shared. Stay healthy and make sure that people find each other and respect each other. See you in Germany 👍!
