I love how compact this is and that it's not an obvious clone of something else. I also dig the sound of the repeats on the delay... I might have to pick this up and build a tiny pedal board with my Marshall's footswitch, my Fulltone OCD, and this.
I am amazed the quality of the new pedals. I just ordered this pedal based on the review because of the REVERB feature having a depth and decay control PLUS the ability to blend the delay (echo) with the reverberation. The hold tail function is also very Cool at $59.00 USD
Yeah I have the same monoprice amp and sold like 2 modeling amps because of it! It's my new measuring stick when trying out new amps. I'm thinking about adding this little pedal also although I already like the reverb of the amp.
how did that end up working out? i too use pedals on my nylon string, i use delay abs reverb and it sounds amazing, at least what i’m going for. so yeah, how was this pedal for you on your nylon???
@@deathxcountry I actually returned it. Wasn't crazy about how it sounded. I am still searching for a good reverb/delay unit. The NUX Atlantic gets really good reviews. May try that one.
@@druchumley4571 i use the way huge echo puss and love it. you can push the feedback super hard while keeping the delay fast, which it seems you cant do with most analog delay pedals. i got the aqua puss as well, but wasnt able to achieve what i wanted with that and it would end up getting crazy and self oscillating when i had the settings like mentioned above. with the echo puss theres ofcourse blend and also tone which is nice. then theres depth and speed which i had always just turned all the way down/off but recently started messing around with them and got some cool sounds. the pedal is a bit dated now i guess, depending how you look at it, but i couldnt recomend the way huge echo puss enough! theres also the super puss, but that one has more going on with it than i need. the three tiers also reflect the price. theres lots of demos and theyre better than most you see, but they dont do it total justice, as you can get a fast but really long delay, which is what im into and havet found in others ive tried. will have to post about what you end up getting and how you like it!
Donner Revecho sounds as good as any more expensive reverb pedal on the market! It is just a must have pedal! Thank you Shane for this review and as always great sound and playing on your Strat! Cheers from Croatia !

I guess in Australia Chinese products are a blessing. American stuff is ridiculous. So I understand there must be a different View of the Chinese stuff there. Which I understand. back in the late seventies in the states Japan allowed us poor people to have great guitars.
while I prefer the demos without talking, you minimize the ranking to just describe what setting changes you are doing. which makes it easier to just listen without having to look at the screen. I like listening to UA-cam while doing chores. you make it easier to do this. thanks!
I have been looking for a verb/ delay pedal with a switch for each for a bit. Nothing fancy, just basic. I don't use delay much. Just slap back. a lot of the amps i like do not have reverb.

The best thing about cheap reverb is stacking multiples still a fraction the cost of the big boys. Have a mod verb like you'll get here going into a cheap hall, voila!

I like this pedal, I would actually like to have one. I plan on getting one of the Jackman amps soon, but I don't have a reverb pedal. All of my other amp I just use the built in. This might be a good option, the only thing I don't like is the little tiny writing and knobs. Seems like it would be hard to read in low light. I want to redo my pedal board... this might get the nod :)

As I suppose you can not make dotted 1/2 1/4... repetitions with the delay, can u?! I was thinkin on buying a similar one, the Mooer Echoverb, a smaller and good pedal as this one. But... I will think about it.
No it does not. This person saying it does is clueless to what you’re talking about. It’s not a spring sound nor does it claim to be. It can be a pretty good ambient machine though.
Maybe one of y'all can answer me this question: With this pedal, if you turn on tap tempo, then turn it off, does it remember your tempo from TT-mode, or will the delay then use the knob setting? I'm wanting to find a delay w tap tempo that doesn't remember your TT setting when you turn TT off. That way I can set up my delay to work for slapback, but employ the TT for 'trippier' songs. Right now I'm using digitech pedals, and every time I'm done using the TT mode I must reach down to the pedal and fuss with the pedal knobs so it will go back to my slapback delay time setting. I hope that's clear and someone can answer me.

I would say the majority of neck pickups on a Strat I like more but get me a Twisted Tele neck pickup or a Joe Barden Tele pickup and I choose that. Overall though, Strat neck pickups are awesome.
intheblues the Valeton Dapper’s are insanly good for their price. I have my student’s playing on a Dapper Mini. I haven’t seen the exact design from other brands. But these donners have the same knobs and housing.
It's not so good.. I found it lowers overall volume whether switched on or not by just being in the fx loop of my amp or in line.... Its not the loop or the amp. I also found it generates a slight noise even when off. Again not my effects chain amp or loop. Other pedals are fine.. If you get one (it is cheap and it's not that bad) but check it out straight away so you can return it if you are not happy.. You now know what to look for....

Seems to me every single one resets to the setting once it loses power. So if you unplug it you’re back to square one.
How is the pedal noise in the room before you play. When the guitar is dormant.

The way I film the pedals it’s hard to play and hold the button down but yep it just trails off as opposed to just shutting off quickly

These donner pedals look like they were designed by the same team that made the Valeton Dapper line.
You might be right. I haven't heard of that line of pedals. I think the majority of these pedals are OEM to whoever wants to buy them.
