A tank doesn't really make a great boiler. But if you go that route a firebrick masonry structure should be built to create a firebox and give that heat as much surface area and time to allow the heat transfer to happen reasonably. I have different targets in my firebox bits of steel, firebrick chunks, stainless steel bowls for my flames to concentrate on, no flames really directly at the boiler itself.
You still selling these nozzles? After all your experiments, what burner do you think is the most stable for lean burning waste oil? It looks like a toss up between this SiC nozzle and your dragon burner.
Hay I got a problem me and my grand son bought a 1898 steam engine we would like to know how to run it on your steam generators instead of a boiler filled with water witch is a big danger if it explodes and takes a long time to heat the water to boiling point plus every psi it raises the boiling point higher so you haft to get it hotter to boil it got any ideas 💡 thanks
Do you sell only the nozzles and tubes (without the silicon carbide) of these high velocity burners for propane? Couldnt find them on your sites. I think the medium size will work for me
Fire all three up, I could use some global warming.hahaha On a more serious side, I appreciate your experiments and your sharing them. I'm definitely going to change the style of burner I have. And design one after yours.
Very nice burner thank you for very intetesting tecnical details nice movie 👍👍👍
How well do they run on waste motor oil ,hydraulic fluid etc.? Great video and truly awesome burners must say.

Have you build one that is powered just by a fan and not by air compressor?
