Taking a step back is definitely the way to go. For me when I push myself to keep going when I clearly just don't want to keep going I just end up driving really badly, so it's not even worth it. Take a break and come back when you *want* to come back
Brandon! A BIG thank you from me and my friends. Your lap guides is without doubt the best and most enjoyable ones out there. You have a very calm voice and that is something really valuable on a place like UA-cam. I have been trying to watch the most of your races even though they often collide with my work hours. Take care of yourself! Life is too short and precious. Find something you enjoy and if you ever find a spark for sim racing and your channel again, we would all love to have you back. :)
Thank you Anders! Wishing that this guide and any future ones continue to help, appreciate your comment massively. I'll still be doing videos where I can but itll be a bit of time before I'm fully committed again, thank you!
Take a break! I think sometimes we forget this isn't a job and this is a hobby. Do what makes you happy, it doesn't matter if we get videos every week/month/year love your content and appreciate the hard work. If it wasn't for you and a yorkie I don't know where my sim racing journey would have been gone. Both of you guys have shaved SECONDS off for me and helping this backmarker be a mid runner :) Much love and support!
Brandon! As always; thank you for the track guide and also the great content and dedication you have given! We really appreciate it; have learned so much from this channel and totally respect that you need some time away from it. It’s a lot of hard work! We’ll always be here to support and look forward to whatever you choose to bring us in the future🙌🏾
Thank you AMG! Makes me smile to see this too, I'm happy that what I've done has been helpful and I will do my best to continue it where I can, massive appreciation! Thank you
I like that your track guides are not to long either . Don’t wanna watch one for 20min plus. Yours are the best I’ve found on UA-cam . And yes take break . It’s nice to play other types of games or even none at all .
a very big thank you Brandon for this new guide and all the work so far with Hayden.Your videos have helped me to progress :) Take your time to come back, think about yourself and your well-being, this is the most important.
A big thank you for all the track guides you published so far. It's been almost a year that I keep referring at them and it helped me a lot getting better and enjoying simracing more! I think many like me use them as references, hence the unstoppable increase in subscribsers. You helped thousands of people improve in what they love doing.
Thanks for this lap guide, can't wait for the two others. Your lap guides are the best so thank you for doing them even if the motivation isn't right there at the moment and hopefully the step back will be good for you.
Your track guides have made me a better sim racer and made me enjoy it so much more! I’m so thankful for the time and effort you put in to these videos. If you’re not enjoying something, never force it. Like the others said, it’s a hobby, not a job. Sometimes when you take a break from something, it’s even better when you return to it :)
Hope you do come back, I always watch your lap guides and revisit them many times. Thanks for your effort mate. Enjoy your time off it’s important to have breaks. Cheers
Thank you for all the great track guides Brandon, I have watched and learned from each and every one of them. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and reassess your priorities, all the best.
Great Track Guide! Perfect! You great! .. step back is a choiche of good sense, but if u can and u take fun to do, continue to produce content like this, you're great. Keep it up!
Thanks for all your work on these guides Brandon. They are ace! They are the best imo and my 'go to' guides when faced with a new track. Take care and look forwarfds to seeing you back when you feel refreshed and ready.
thanks for the great lap guide!! your ACC/Sim racing burnout is understandable, for sure. take a break, enjoy yourself and doing something different; hopefully you'll eventually come back refreshed and enthusiastic, and i'm sure that most of us will still be here and happily await your return! cheers m8!
Thanks for these guides, they are essential. Glad you are keeping the channel going, even if it's sporadical the content is so helpful. Whatever makes you happy is the best choice. I too am taking it easy and racing sporadically.
Im glad you told me about your personal situtation, you actually earned a sub. Many compliments to the straight forward track guides, honestly the best ones out there. Its a step in the right direction, what ends up happening if you push yourself you will only hate it more and more, and in this way the chance of coming back and enjoying the game is far larger.
All the best Brandon, thanks for the guides. They have helped to give me something to stay focussed on during lockdown here in the UK. Can't go out but can shave seconds off.. Cheers!
Do what you want to do and enjoy life! I'm incredibly thankful for your track quides. They're just perfect with all the info you need. Still can't get close to your lap times, though. 😄 Thank you again and take care!
i know you’re taking a break but i just wanted to say this is a really fantastic guide. thank you!! the brake and throttle bars up front are very helpful and that line comparison through the chicane was really great to see. take care!
Thanks mate! I got a few ideas coming but the ones I currently have take a while to make so it's a bit slow. Plus there isnt too much new content around at the moment
@@unleasheddrivers1281 well, I'm only learning ACC, so I don't know what you talking about😂😂 but anyway I'm doing pretty well in studying donington now after watching your video:)
Hi mate! I was quite touched with your message at the end. All best to both of you and I hope you'll find joy whatever it might be. As per this channels, I DO ENJOY playing around with montages and custom cameras in ACC. If you'd be interested in that for the track guides or other instructional videos, hit me up and we can think of something quality and cool. kindest
Nice lap, and thanks for the guide. Funny how i feel like i drove the exact same way last night and am in the 1:30's. Though when i say exact, i mean everything except that chicane, i gues there alone i need to cut way more. At least a second to gain for me there. But half the fun is improving, cleaning up corners on new tracks.
At t1 i have tried everything driving wise, brake early, brake late, open the corner, close the corner and no matter what i get a shit load of oversteer on the exit, either i will lose my rear and be forced to lift and counter steer so i dont go wide on the exit, or i will simply go wide cause there is nothing to be done and i am tilted. I also tried going later on full throttle but it didnt work. I am desperate and out of ideas, any suggested changes i can try on the setup, using the default agg..
I saw there are many differences between cars, i'm using bmw m6, i can't accelerate too early like you cos' the car goes away from the back, i stoped my crono on 1.27.540, i don't know how improve grip on traction
QQ, not sure if its maybe my brake/throttle setup in the game or on my pedals (Fanatec v3).. but i seem to be engaging abs nearly every time I fully brake, and TC every time I accelerate and I wouldn't say I'm stamping on it.. Any ideas for what I can do (other than get good lol)? I'm sure it's losing me a lot of time.

Lightning fast upload haha! I was waiting for this thanks:)
Very welcome! Stoked that it didnt take me too long, possibly could have spent a little more time driving the track but I think this will be ok

Give us Oulton Park Lap Guide! Donington is ez.
Thanks for upload!
this track is fun
It Is! I've always loved Donington, always used to love throwing all sorts of cars around there on the old Assetto Corsa
Taking little breaks helps a lot man keep it up!
Thx a lot. Helbs me a lot. 🙂👍
Thanks for all! Give a time for yourself, my friend. We will miss you because you are the best! Greetings!
many thanks bud!
I can’t figure out how you get on the accelerator so quickly. If I try that the rear end just breaks loose, even with t/c turned right up

Hey man, do you have an video fro bentley at Donington and setup for it?

Hey :)
Could you tell me what exactly is it you do that the TC doesn't activate even once?
It's just the replay, I record these videos using the replay and it doesnt show the TC or ABS usage
@@unleasheddrivers1281 I see, thx for clearing that up :)

Abs 4 and no lock ups!!
What car is that anyone please?
