I find your format of track guides the most useful of any I've seen Brandon: Simple cockpit view, pausing for braking and apex points with visual markers, and of course the throttle and brake telemetry. The pit entrance is a great addition too. Only way you could make these better is by adding chapters for each corner, or maybe just the 3 different sections; breakdown, full lap uninterrupted, and pit entry. Great stuff, thanks.
I just need 1 channel for track guide and it’s this channel ! So good, short, well made track guide ! I always learn tracks all by myself so I can really learn it with all my own mistakes but then looking to your track guides makes it all together perfect ! Thanks for the clear vids my man !! 🏁🏁🏁👍
great guide, Brandon. very thorough, thanks!! pausing the lap and highlighting the reference points is very helpful- the extra work you put into that didn't go unnoticed
Congratulations. you have the best explained track guide on all of youtube. your videos help a lot to get to know the track as quickly and easily as possible. kudos, keep it up
I'm now in the 1:47s, which for me is really good as I'm usually 5-6 secs off the best times for each track. I still haven't really figured out why I lose time, I feel like I do the same as all the hotlaps I watch but i still drop time everywhere. I hit all the same braking markers and take the same lines. Maybe I take too long to get back on the gas?
@@Punkologist Exact same here. Just got a 1:47. The heel and turn 9 are the weak spots for me. Getting a good exit on turn 1 is crucial for speed up the hill.
Dude! I loved the video! You are the only one I have seen that puts the throttle and break right on our face. No need to constantly rewind to try to pay attention to everything at once. Got another sub! Thank You!
I drove 4 and a half hours from home to Watkins Glen to watch 80 Ferraris duke it out for the Ferrari Challenge. Then, ACC gives me Watkins Glen with the boot, and the 700 hp 488 Evo...i'm doing laps. Your lap guide was SUPER well executed, and clarified a lot of "where should I be, and what gear" for me. SUBBED!
Hey there! Great guide! Just one observation about the pit entry part. What if the league you're in enforces the pit entry line? You would have to approach the entry differently, approaching even before the last corner.
Another great guide, a huge thanks to you as you've been instrumental along with the community I'm in for getting from a backmarker to a strong upper mid field. Keep up the good work as always!
Another great lap guide and super quick after the track release too. I'm looking forward to trying these tips out later today. And I can't wait for the COTA guide. I did a race there and only had 2 valid laps. I have no idea where the track limits are there.
Excellent guide. How do you pick up the throttle so early on turn 9? I oversteer every time or run way too wide. Maybe not a late enough apex? The heel and turn 9 are most difficult for me.
I just started doing hot laps tonight at this track. So far with aggressive setup in the bmw I'm 1.46 flat. Watching this I should be able to find some more speed. I'm struggling with the back half of the track. I gain a few tenths on the front half then lose it all on the back.

Thank you! Really positive to hear this 😁
Been a fan of your Videos for a long time now, recommend them to everyone, keep it up mate.
Thanks Duke! Big appreciation for that.
Thank you, Again, for the best straight to the point lap guide.

Thank you David! Happy to be able to help out
As always, great guide! Please come back to ACC league racing...!
Maybe in the future, I'll see how things go. Thanks for your comment!
Big knarly pile up at road america today in the xfinity race. I wish that track would of made the cut for america track pack.
Really good guide. Disagree with your pit entry guide as a lot of leagues would penalise you for crossing the blend line.
2:32 no breaking point theres a piece of concrete right were your mark was
Thx a lot, especially for showin the pit entry :*

improved from a 1:51 to a 1:48.5 after watching this, I know it's still a bit off the pace, but for me being within 4 secs of you is fast! thanks!

This American track DLC has some hard tracks.
at 2:36 you can use the concrete square on the right as braking point if u want
Love all your trackguides thx

GT7'S circuit experience really shines here as being a tutorial for ACC 🤣

Best video guide ever. Thank you so much 🎉
Can finally do a 1:46 not consistently though

Thanks mate! COTA one just uploaded now. I tell ya, the track is gonna give people nightmares.
"Your lap has been invalidated"
This is how guide's should be. Putting an emphasis on the gas and brake indicator's and POV. Excellent stuff 👍
