Cool stuff Dave. I have the Blu-ray sets of the original Star Trek series. The thing I thought was cool was that they redid some of the special effects and you could choose which way to watch them or toggle between both to compare. I haven't seen any other Star Trek series but I do have the 4k sets of season one and two of Star Trek, Strange New Worlds. Anyway, Great stuff and info!
Thanks. I am surprised that I do like the added special effects and am really enjoying my rewatch of Star Trek TOS. Do you recommend Strange New Worlds?
I purchase a lot of TV box sets on digital too, because I don’t want to have to rely on expensive streaming services. Let’s face it, streaming prices keep climbing and paying a bundle price for my favourite TV series is worth it.
Same here, it's nice to have favorite TV shows on digital for convenience (and because I watch some series so often over and over). With streaming services constantly increasing prices, it's nice to have other options. There are some must have services (Criterion as an example for me) but I feel like I will be at a point where I can stop other services given what I have to watch on physical media and my digital library.
@@CinemaDaveMedia Exactly! I feel like we can both cut back a little on streaming services now that our physical and digital collections have grown teehee!
Dave like to hear your thoughts on the SMDM when you are guys done. I'm in the middle of season 4 of SMDM and season 2 of the Bionic Woman they have quite afew cross over episodes.
Hey Dave, another terrific video and will be looking into those films that you featured by Alan Pakula, Just wanted to let you know that there is five seasons to the six Million dollar, man and 6 tv films. Just to give you a heads up. Take care of my friend be well
@@entcave Klute is a classic in my humble opinion. Next flash sale Might be October (though never sure each year) but I usually wait until the longer Barnes and Noble sale in November.

@@CinemaDaveMedia I don't know yet. I haven't watched it. But it does have story ties to the original series.
@@michaelthemovieattic Oh good to know, let me know what you think when you get to it. Thanks!
love getting into the Hallloween season early.
TOS is my favorite Trek and probably second only to The Simpsons as my favorite TV of all time. Just love the dynamics of those characters.
Same here, I'm really enjoying my rewatch of Star Trek TOS - brings back so many memories. Even like the remastering and added bits.

Thanks very much. I forgot about the Six Million Dollar Man TV films so thanks for mentioning. Take care and hope you have a good week.
Klute is on my list for the next flash sale. When does the next one day flash sale usually occur for Criterion?
