Scot, i remember your epiode. You did good. Now if you did Check Out with your original prices you would of won. Your total will be $23.32 & actual total price was $21.44 with a differnce of $1.88
I think that is totally awesome that they will pick people who are handicapped. I remember watching during the summer of 2008 that a hard of hearing contestant was called and they had someone voicing their sign language. That person didn't get up on stage, but I would like to see that clip again.
Gotta love the enthusiasm of the dude in the tye die shirt. I hope Paul was able to drive that Chevy(cough cough Toyota Corolla), that has to be one of the best cars they've given away on TPIR. It might be boring, but those things run forever with minimal fuss and are actually decently nice for a cheap car. I bet if somebody changed the oil religiously and did the maintenance its still on the road 23 years later.
That wheelchair ramp has been there since 1982, TPIR's camera-work and editing is just that amazing. Haha, just kidding...that second part is completely bogus.
I was wondering how a contestant in a wheelchair played cover up something similar occurred about a few years after an 80 year old gentleman plays switcheroo for a car 🚗 just like Paul did with cover up and because of his old age Bob barker did all the switching for him and during the showcase showdown a u.s. army man by the name of James spins the wheel for him unfortunately he ends up going over 100
Going back percentages, this previous season had the highest win percentage of the last 8 seasons. Also, winning percentages have gone continuously go up beginning with Season 34.
@HeilleZanAllezVous Yes it's a fact that contestants aren't randomly selected. However, they are not informed before hand. And those are"oooh"s. A common effect in the 90s.
But other people might watch this video and wonder the same thing...also me answering your original comment doesn't mean you needed me to, it means I just wanted to.
@@EmilySuydam I see, didn't know that. Thank you kindly for teaching me that. Cheers, now read my comment when I defended you against idiot Chase Parsons.
This video posting is confusing. Paul in the wheelchair was in the far right position of contestants row at the beginning with a bid of $800 when Scot made it on the stage, so how is that he wasn't called to "Roll" on down until 3:06? 🤔
He's a real estate agent in Vegas. It was his 21st time trying to get on stage. He is just a huge fan who memorized the prices - it's not difficult if you watch the show every day. Have you ever seen Theodore? ua-cam.com/video/HdFKZtZop7A/v-deo.html
The thing is I see people in wheel chairs told they can win a new car, that’s ironic huh? They can’t drive because they can’t use their legs, poor people.
Handicapped people are perfectly capable of driving with a few modifications to the controls. Are you truly that ignorant or just an all around jackass?!
Yes I was wondering the same thing. Plus, Paul seemed to know he was going to get called. He did'nt seem very surprised. Cause it's a fact that contestants are not randomly selected... I think Paul even knew he was getting on stage. That was a big setup. The ramp was installed before he "came on down". The rest of the audience probably saw that coming when the ramp was installed. Cause I clearly hear many people boo-ing when the car is revealed 4:27 . Am I the only one hearing the croud booh ?
Yep...I started typing out my reply the second you posted yours and just got done yesterday. It's not like I just watched the video for the first time and noticed no one replied to your comment so I decided to.
Hardly anyone wins Temptation, Triple Play, Step Up, It's in the Bag, Switcheroo, Punch-a-bunch, or Golden Road. Should those games be retired as well? In fact, Plinko has NEVER been won. Should that game be retired?
Too fucking bad, then don't comment at all, doesn't matter if it is a day, 6 months, or more than a year. Some people didn't watch this the same time you did, it was probably months later till they watched it, so yeah they have the right to still rebuttal towards your comment.
Nobody since this episode has gotten all numbers right in one try in Cover Up. Cover Up should be retired from the way that it has been going. No wins.
No, Bob says it hasn't happened in a long time, hence meaning it happened a long time ago. You also get more than one try if you at least have one number right. I've seen tons of people win at Cover Up.
The thing is I see people in wheel chairs told they can win a new car, that’s ironic huh? They can’t drive because they can’t use their legs, poor people.
there is an explanation somewhere. I always wondered why they have braille on drive thru ATMs, until someone explained that the blind person could be seated behind the driver as a passenger.
Handicapped people are perfectly capable of driving with a few modifications to the controls. Are you truly that ignorant or just an all around jackass?!
That man in the wheelchair chair is my dad! So proud of him! RIP
Wow sorry to hear that I hope that everything is ok for you and the rest of your family
So sorry you lost him😢 what did your dad do with the car, did he modify it so he could drive it??
@@LisaNix2 - *shyly* … What is it that made him need a wheelchair?
Thank you for posting this video. I am that KNOW IT ALL! It was one of the best days of my life.
I'm happy for you! That's what the show needed, someone with enthusiasm.
That was awesome!
Wow there's two of you. Amazing.
That must have been pretty awesome!
i am the KNOW IT ALL, i was just thrilled to be on stage with Bob. it was my 21st trip there and I am a lifetime fan. scot savage
Las Vegas Realtor it’s my dream to be on the show do you still watch it with Drew
Scot, i remember your epiode. You did good. Now if you did Check Out with your original prices you would of won. Your total will be $23.32 & actual total price was $21.44 with a differnce of $1.88
thanks, this is Scot, still enjoy my dinette set toady, we call it the barker
Wow there's two of you. Amazing.
I was 8 years old watchin ya sick from school loll
I think he was the first ever wheelchair contestant, his wheel went over the tips of my shoes as he arrived in contestants row.
Yes he was!
Bob always had a heartfelt laugh. LOVE IT!!!
Rod: "Paul Rossman, you're going to play Plinko for a chance to win up to $50,000!"
Bob: "Uh... mmmm..."
would have been $25,000 back then.
I think that is totally awesome that they will pick people who are handicapped. I remember watching during the summer of 2008 that a hard of hearing contestant was called and they had someone voicing their sign language. That person didn't get up on stage, but I would like to see that clip again.

I think that's the first time I have ever seen a CBS page help a contestant spin the wheel.
That wheelchair ramp has been there since 1982, TPIR's camera-work and editing is just that amazing.
Haha, just kidding...that second part is completely bogus.
I really enjoyed watching this video it is one of my Favorite TV show to watch 💥💥💥
Paul should've been given a standing O not just for winning the car, but for winning it on the first shot!
I was watching that episode when it came on (the part where the handicap got it right the first time around) and I never forgot it!
That was awesome he got it right on the first try. Congrats to Paul!!
nope REALTOR for 20 years, just watch the show everyday!
It's moments like these that make the show so much fun to watch!!
I kinda lost it when Bob says "Let's do!" lmao
Scott was a contestant on the prime time version of the Weakest Link but didn't win
And he aced the game too! Way to go!
two great wins by two great players!!!...go scot and go paul!!!
Scott was also on the Weakest Link but got voted off in the 5th round.
It was the best day of my life.. I was that KNOW IT ALL, I am Scot Savage
You were awesome! Congratulations!
Way to go dude!
you rock.

I cannot believe the Cover Up was completed in one attempt.
WOW! This Was Amazing!
"Cover Up" was played during the Million Dollar Spectacular and somebody won it.
I love that guy.
5:01 Poor ol’ Bob needed eyeglasses there.
What a beauty
In order to win a pricing game you gotta play like this guy
this is twice someone in a wheel chair had a chance to win a car. games and prizes are planned before they know who the contestants will be.
Don’t know what’s worse, giving a car to a dude in a wheelchair OR giving a dude in a wheelchair a GEO PRIZM😂
wow i honestly can't remember the last time i saw hi lo won...good posting
I miss Rod Roddy. :(
+SchwarzeWitwe2 Don't forget Johnny Olson and Rich Fields :(
"Olson is dead, Rich got fired"
I don't remember Johnny Olson; I grew up with Rod.
SchwarzeWitwe2 Before Roddy Olson was the announcer, he died also.
+cutemimi25 Yeah I remember Johnny Olson. He is the one that started the saying "Come on down!" even though Rod has it on his head stone.
He's turning in his grave right now because his position is now taken over by a shitty improv comedian.

If he feels the power, tell the guy in the wheelchair to ARISE, ARISE.
This is a good job at ADA Compliance here.
Original air date: September 27, 1999
Don't we all miss him. And before anyone even thinks of saying it: He is NOT dead. Just retired.
Dec 19th, 2019 and Bob's still kickin'. He just turned 96 a week ago.
I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope it's all healed by now.
I would be happy with a new wheelchair rather than a new car.
That guy in hi lo is smart
You could add Five Price Tags to that list too. Of course, they shouldn't be retired.
@GameShowNetwork They have special ramps at CBS Television City, and they've made the new ramps coordinated because of HD.
Going back percentages, this previous season had the highest win percentage of the last 8 seasons. Also, winning percentages have gone continuously go up beginning with Season 34.
What you need is a call from one of your parents.
They had a ramp here, you can see it in the shot briefly
From Season 29 - 36, it has been won 36%. The games I listed had all been won 25% of the time or less.
CHrisivision edited out the bidding on the prize.
I agree with the last comment. I miss rod roddy, too.
Sounds like Adam sandler
Haha especially when he says the prices after Bob asks
They always have the cars for the people that cannot drive them. :o(
@HeilleZanAllezVous Yes it's a fact that contestants aren't randomly selected. However, they are not informed before hand. And those are"oooh"s. A common effect in the 90s.

Don't worry about it. Chase Parsons is just a douchebag, and probably a useless tit to society.
Just read my comment to Chase Parsons. I defended you. :) I dislike scumbags like that..
Yay He did it!! 6:03
no, i think its just an "ooh"
I read over the last few years it is being won less and less, but I could be wrong.
i bet he knows the price of that popcorn
He said 2.99 first
Of course he can drive, he obviously had full use of his hands/arms so he would have no problem using hand controls.
you need your feet as well for brakes.
No you don't. Hand controls are exactly as the name implies, controlled by your hands.
@@EmilySuydam I see, didn't know that. Thank you kindly for teaching me that. Cheers, now read my comment when I defended you against idiot Chase Parsons.
I drive a Prizm. Not bad for a '99 subcompact.
I want to see Paul play plinko.
This video posting is confusing. Paul in the wheelchair was in the far right position of contestants row at the beginning with a bid of $800 when Scot made it on the stage, so how is that he wasn't called to "Roll" on down until 3:06? 🤔
I see what you are saying, 'Good Eye'!
They probably had to do some crafty editing to get around making the stage accessible for the player Paul.
The segments were uploaded in the wrong order.
The Hi-Lo player would have done very good at Check-Out
or grocery game
wonder if they fitted the car with controls
What game did amber play before going to the wheel?
+Nona Leibl I think it was Push over.
I wonder if Paul (the man in the wheel chair) kept the car and had it modified so he could drive it?
probably gave it to someone as a present or sold it.
Scot probably works for a retail store.
He's a real estate agent in Vegas. It was his 21st time trying to get on stage. He is just a huge fan who memorized the prices - it's not difficult if you watch the show every day.

The thing is I see people in wheel chairs told they can win a new car, that’s ironic huh? They can’t drive because they can’t use their legs, poor people.
Actually; cars can be equipped to allow crippled people to drive. Gas and break controls can be put onto the steering wheel itself.
Handicapped people are perfectly capable of driving with a few modifications to the controls. Are you truly that ignorant or just an all around jackass?!

8-Bit Satan they stopped film and then picked up again as they wheeled him onto the stage. You are completely and utterly incorrect.
Airdate?
Yep...I started typing out my reply the second you posted yours and just got done yesterday. It's not like I just watched the video for the first time and noticed no one replied to your comment so I decided to.
it took you 6 months to type that?
The woman reminds me of Nancy Cartwright....
Did they use that ramp only once?
they used it for a lady in a wheelchair who won a treadmill
that was pretty awkward w/ Paul lol does anybody know what he has? Can he drive?
cars can be modified to have everything in the steering wheels, so there's no reason that couldn't be modified and he could drive it.
Handicapped people are perfectly capable of driving, you dolt. Are you truly that ignorant or just an azzhole?!
How would he drive it ?
He could sell it. Duh
Hardly anyone wins Temptation, Triple Play, Step Up, It's in the Bag, Switcheroo, Punch-a-bunch, or Golden Road. Should those games be retired as well?
In fact, Plinko has NEVER been won. Should that game be retired?
There are clips of plenty of people who won big on those games - what are you watching??
@EmilySuydam I don't need 6 month old comments replied to... I don't care if he can drive anymore
Too fucking bad, then don't comment at all, doesn't matter if it is a day, 6 months, or more than a year. Some people didn't watch this the same time you did, it was probably months later till they watched it, so yeah they have the right to still rebuttal towards your comment.

I make him look stupid when it comes do the game rules
@3:29 skip to 3:55 and it looks like he won automatically, just for being disabled.
@4:58 Reading FAIL
1999
No.
Anyone else thing this guy must be insufferable in real life?
skip from 3:29 to 3:54 and it looks like Paul won a prize without having to bid on it, special treatment for the handicapped.
No, in fact if you look at the winning amount, he bid a dollar over someone, which means he didn't win on his first time in contestant's row.
Agreed, you can see the “1401” on his bid.
The thing is I see people in wheel chairs told they can win a new car, that’s ironic huh? They can’t drive because they can’t use their legs, poor people.
