(For what it's worth, Kirin's beard is probably just a sign of the kirin's nature as a dragon with a horse head and as far as I know all Asian dragons have beards, so unless those are also exclusively masculine you're misinterpreting that feature.)
It's actually unclear, True Draco Majesty Maiden was supposedly Kirin. When they printed the Dracoslayer version of her it seemed to support that theory but with Majespecter Draco, it stops being pointing that way.

Some comments: After testing other snake eye variants i noticed that what make the fire kings version the best one is not thier board of a 1 card combo ( most variants can do the same)but the fact that they are very resilient to interptions and can play alot on both turns so it won't be like an unbeatable deck For branded they have a good snake eye fire king match up since branded is very good against non-negate interptions And i heard some people say that they will play purely as a meta call ( Which means goblins will be a meta call for the meta call lets gooo)
I feel like the fact you just pulled off a one card combo that could have also started with normal bunbuku and didn’t draw any cards so you can play prosp is being overlooked here. A bunbuku + 4 handtrap starting hand feels pretty good into the format.
Secret Village feels moot this format due to everyone and their mother running Diabell and Hiita, so the card doesnt leave as much of an impact as one would hope.
Add Blastfan and Birdman to this deck and you can add Droll to your hand as well. Not going to be the greatest deck, but certainly a force to ve reckoned with.
I really do love how low to the ground Majespectre can play, but I feel that even if they were to put kirin at 1, the deck is just 5 or 6 years too late to make any kind of meta splash, Hoping to be wrong once the new set drops

I almost don't think they'll take Unicorn off the ban list. I'd really like them to, but you'd think they would have done it in OCG already since they got the new support already. Unless TCG is conspiring with OCG to boost sales by both unbanning it on their next list.

Kirin is infinitely repeatable removal and in 2016 there really wasn't removal that could deal with it, like good luck playing shaddoll That being said nowadays yugioh is waaaayy beyond kirin being playable
With an errata "this card cannot be Pendulum summoned" or even Better "you can target One Majespecter Monster you control and One Monster your opponent controls; Return both to their owner's hands". Just have Kirin live only in Majespecter decks, not any Pendulum deck.
Oh my Kirin returning would be interesting. But as a one of maybe 🤔 or errata to only work on your turn as a hard once per turn. And to make it less op make it only be able to bounce majespectors pendulum cards to hand and or a hard once per turn effect. That would be balanced and would solve it being mass played and lower its effect on being back.
