I purchased my snow blade recently from John Bentley at Earth & Turf Attachments. I received the blade much faster than anticipated and while the snow is now gone here in Downeast Maine, I was able to try doing some light grading by locking out the trip mechanism and it worked very well, indeed. I'm very happy with the excellent quality of construction and sound engineering that went into the design. I'm presently editing some video I took of receiving, unpacking, and using the snow blade for the first time. It should appear soon on my Downeast Thunder Creations UA-cam channel. Many thanks to Mr. Bentley to take the time and answer all my questions over the phone and for such fast service.

    Perfect! Where do I buy?

Well, I bought this for my 5 foot tractor bucket a 72 inch plow. I plowed with it for maybe 45 minutes...didn't work very well. Here is why. It really hangs out in front of the bucket and is not very stable no matter how tight you crank the two bolts down. It kind of flops around on the center pivot bolt. Now, I want to say this it is a very well constructed plow and all the components. It just is not good with this application. So, what I plan to do is go with a Quick Attach system and swap this plow, same manufacturer, with a Quick Attach frame. I hope this will do the trick.

Can you get away with a 5 ft bucket and 5 ft plow combo? Or is it really such a pain that you need the larger plow?

Check out my comment above. I bought this plow in the 72 inch. It looks neat, but after 45 minutes of plowing I didn't like it. It really hangs way out in front of the bucket and kind of flops around. And you can't back drag with it either. It will slide off the bucket. It is a well made plow but not in this application. Better if the plow is attached to the loader.

Well, let's see how much they are? No pricing given. Hate to waste your time on quotes when these things are pretty generic in nature. But.... We'll see.

I have a bx kubota. I bought a 60" blade made for an ATV. It is not as heavy made as this one but pretty decent. I just fired up the welder and made my own bolt on mount. I made it mount to a 1/4 steel plate that fits under the front edge of the bucket and used the holes to bolt on the bucket edge.
Then made a link that goes to the top of the bucket. Yes it takes a bit longer to put it on due to the bolt on design but it is secure and I don't need to take it on/off every 5 minutes. It goes on at the start of winder and off after the last show fall. It was 120 for the blade and another 30 or so for the steel to finish it up then some black paint etc. It is manual angle adjust but that is fine.
I might eventually adapt an electric trailer tongue jack to adjust the blade angle. I think a tongue jack rated at 2000 lbs would be heavy enough to angle my blade back and forth and be a lot cheaper then adding the 3rd function hydraulic kit and all the other parts such as a hydraulic cylinder and lines etc.

@@robert5 that awesome! I was considering a full size truck blow blade for my 2025 r and just make an adapter to attach to the bucket and be done.

I bought one here in central Pennsylvania, a 72 inch for 5 ft bucket, and it was $1779 + tax
