Awesome job. I have access to a plow just like that and was thinking about fixing it up for my tractor. You have laid out the perfect plan. Thanks for sharing.
I will be adding an auxiliary hydraulic for a brush/root grapple this coming summer... so, we'll see how this winter goes with manually angling the plow, and if I need to next winter maybe I can add a hydraulic ram to angle the plow. Thanks for watching!
Most people would mount hinges to the bottom of the plate and use a chain lift so that the plow can float with just its weight pushing down not the weight of the loader too.
Great job, l see these blades all the time for like $200, on Facebook marketplace. I have a homemade,,,,l mean handmade V-blade on my tractor, that would've been my first choice if my tractor had a loader. Once again nice build
How do you like the LS tractor. I went with a massey furgason. Dealer. 15 miles away. No LS dealers any where close to me i did look at a few. Takecare.
I love it, I haven't had any trouble with it. I actually went LS because we have an LS dealer in our small town. The only complaint is, the model I bought doesn't have a cab you can buy for it. I would have had to buy the larger model, and it wasn't what I needed. So, I'm sure I will be doing a video soon of me building my own cab. Thanks for watching!
@@fieldlettuce9820 I have a plow hooked up to a plate but with the cylinders it sticks out probably 3 feet farther than yours so I think I will do this sometime cuz I like what u did and with the pipe on the cutting edge I think l will do that too , I plow trails/ walkways in my yard that go out to my pigs / cows exc that I have wood chips and I think doing what u did will work better , now I do just run the blade up a little bit with my plow shoes . Anyways I'll go through all of your videos through out the upcoming months. Todd 🤪
I think if I used it to plow my house or someplace I had to plow every time it snowed, I definitely would have. But, this is just for our camp that we will be spending occasional weekends at and it's more for just playing with. But, you may be right! 😀 Thank you for watching!
Haha That's at our camp, or cabin. It was at our small town store and had been out of service for years, of course. So, I got it for free from the store owner and put it out there for fun. I put a solar light in it so it lights up at night. All of our friends young kids have no idea what it is!
This is great man! I’m about to tackling this exact thing! Thanks for the video.
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching! And good luck with your project!
Awesome thanks for sharing this video 👍👍🇺🇸

I just did exactly the same thing/ finished about a month ago but no snow yet/ looking forward to trying it out
I'm excited to try mine also. Plowing snow is fun... For the first month. Haha Thank you for watching!
Works great. Easy enough to add a third function and angling ram later.

I did the pipe thing about 8 years ago work awesome
It seems like it should work well! Thank you for watching!
It works great until it's a super heavy, wet snow
I'm digging the channel. Looks like you are an editing pro already!
Thank you! I have a lot to learn, and can always improve. I really appreciate that you enjoed it! 👍
Most people would mount hinges to the bottom of the plate and use a chain lift so that the plow can float with just its weight pushing down not the weight of the loader too.
Before I built mine, I did see that with other builds. I just went a different route. Thanks for watching!
the loader should have a float function
The idea of hinging the plow on the QA plate is to keep as much weight on the front axle for traction, in the case of a 4wd tractor.
Good job you must have strong back, if you wax the blade wet snow will slide off better.....
Thank you!
nice job
Thanks! And thanks for watching!

Great job , where do u live ? I'm going to do exactly what u did .
Thank you! I'm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
