Why bury them in the first place to then dig them up and paw through the mud to find all the bones , only to be then put into a bin bag , total lack of respect and a final resting place. In England an exhumation would not have a family audience and definitely not bagged up on scene in a black sack. Also we respect our deceased by exhuming while it is dark with no family audience. Just baffles me as to why , even if burial land is short , families would invest all that , time , emotion and finance to bury someone and then endeavour a cost years later to dig them up and put them in a garbage bag. Just seem so very wrong.
As you're aware, some countries like Brazil and this piece in the Philippines engage in these activities. I wish I understood Tagalog. I agree with you as in Western cultures a family cannot exhume a deceased family member without good reason. I think it's human nature for many of us to wonder what a body looks like after years as I understand everybody decomposes differently according to a number of factors. I certainly would have hazmat and no flip -flops and would certainly not be sifting through anyone's remains without gloves mid elbow. I never liked visiting my brother's grave because I don't like walking on the grass in cemeteries as it creeps me out because I feel like I'm walking on people disrespecting them although deceased. It just seems as if one didn't exist when you know a loved one is reduced to this but it's the life cycle through death that the Earth takes us all back. When my parents were cremated, I thought these parents whom I loved were reduced to a box of ashes I carried to interment like you're carrying a bag of groceries seemed rather cruel and strange. Keep in mind the cultural traditions. Then again, think of your next door neighbor country Ireland where many truly believe in the Bean Si (banshee) and other superstitions that need to be respected. Yes, many Western cultures would view this as a sacrilege and a curse upon the one that disturbed the deceased. Perhaps theirs views it as a continuation of respect for their family members gone beyond to an afterlife of some sort or not. As difficult this was for this family, I believe they honor their loved one by this act. We learn by their willingness to share a personal glimpse into their life and cultural traditions.
Thank you for sharing, but WHY must they be exhumed? Is the Burial plot only rented for a period of time? Is there no place else they can be permanently laid to rest without exhumation? Every culture is different, I am not judging, I am only curious, in my culture, this would be very emotionally excruciating and almost unheard of.
@@mariajones9102 If that’s the case then I understand. I’m all for science and learning but I’ll never understand and agree on removing so many ancient remains just to display them or worse, leave them in a drawer for years. There’s a reason why so many burials were elaborate for the after life that didn’t include being dug up and dedicrated by non family.
Phillipines has rapid economy growth. It means that poor people have no income outside the streets. So when they die, it felt place for them. By the way just look at some videos after 5 years cause they are dug up in body bags, decay process is much faster. So let them have 0 issues with death. They are diggin them with some Family member that recently died.
I know different culture have different ways but why in the hell would anybody wanna do something like this? Come on man. I'm not bashing these folks but I just can't understand this one. The grave is supposed to be the final resting place. I don't want nobody digging me up picking through my ass like this.
In many countries graves are just rented for 5 , 15 or more years not forever ;after that, the remains are collected (body reduction) and placed in a smaller casket ... Or in some countries cremated or dropped with many others remains in a large pit called ossuary
2 reasons as we always do here in the Philippines. 1. the family either decides to be move to different grave(either cemetery closed or family decided it.) 2. Like this video and most common practice/reason the families have no other money to buy another plot or mausoleum depending on what cementary. So they decided to exhume the buried love ones to make way with newly deceased. The bones would be re-buried with newly deceased.
Why on Earth has this been done? I can't think of *ANY* possible reason to be honest. People should be left alone wherever they are buried or scattered (if cremated) and not disturbed.
@@TeamPagkiasan latex gloves could've been and should have been worn because a dead decomposing body has so many deadly diseases that can be transmitted to the individuals touching the remains.
@@rondelby2482 in some countries they dig up remains to save on space which is a precious commodity in places where the population is massive , digging up graves from a certain length of time after the body rots and nothing but bones are left allows the grave to be used for another family who needs to dispose of their dead.

If they know they won't be able to pay the "rent" on the grave, why get a burial in the first place? Just get a cremation. Then you won't have to go through this.
For some, cremation is not an option for religious reasons. In many areas, the departed rest until decay is complete, as in this video, then the bones are removed, cleaned, and stored in an ossuary.

Another one. Bloody hell. Let the dead rest in peace. Leave them alone.
On some areas may have limited burial space and some spaces may be rented.
Exactly.
@@numerian4516 Just look at the entire video. They are diggin them again with some recently deceased.
Why were the bodies exhumed?
Kahit ilang taon pa ang lumipas, pag Mahal mo masakit pa rin talaga, lalo at magulang yan
Ang buhay ay walang kabuluhan.
That's why we're not worried about going to war with them
So sad remembering that memories staystrong
Thanks sis
What's the neef to exhume a corpse unless they're relocating the cemetery or there is evidence of fpul play
Because a family member will use the tomb....,sorry about this
Why are they being exhumed?
What language is this, and what was the reason they were being exhumed?
Filipino language, exhumed because a dead relative needs space but the bones were intact and put in a white cloth nnd placed inside the coffin
@@madworld. very true! I don’t see why one would even bother burying them in the first place in that case. I’d go straight to cremation.
2 reasons as we always do here in the Philippines.
1. the family either decides to be move to different grave(either cemetery closed or family decided it.)
2. Like this video and most common practice/reason the families have no other money to buy another plot or mausoleum depending on what cementary. So they decided to exhume the buried love ones to make way with newly deceased. The bones would be re-buried with newly deceased.
@@josephdanieljirehdimacali4418 that's why we could see tombstones with multiple names written of those buried from a single tomb
Even in UK the graves are rented after certain amount of years the grave is gone to someone else
Why on Earth has this been done? I can't think of *ANY* possible reason to be honest. People should be left alone wherever they are buried or scattered (if cremated) and not disturbed.
they passed away together??
No

Exumation is disrespectful.Can't imagine.
napa isip ako kanina unang tingin ko,ano yung hukay na yan,pla nasa cemetery pla ang mga footage na ito
Yes po
Oh my God..it is very painful to watch this..it should be done by prayers ceremony first before exhuming the remains😢😢
Most likley was just not on the video
These guys should have worn gloves while handling decomposing remains.
Yeah they should but we were told that they dont want to miss any single little bones so they prefer to use their bare hands....
@@TeamPagkiasan latex gloves could've been and should have been worn because a dead decomposing body has so many deadly diseases that can be transmitted to the individuals touching the remains.
By that time any bacteria has long dissapeared. It was no more than the mud around it.....Pity people have to dig up remains though...
@@rondelby2482 in some countries they dig up remains to save on space which is a precious commodity in places where the population is massive , digging up graves from a certain length of time after the body rots and nothing but bones are left allows the grave to be used for another family who needs to dispose of their dead.
may I ask why they were exhumed? sorry for your loss xx
Thank you...
Condolence
Hello po Team Pagkaisan. Saan niyo nilagak ang mga boto after exhuming?
Ganito din kasi ang plano namin in due time ng papa namin. Please reply po. Thanks.
Hi po, sa same grave din po sya na ung ibinalot sa puting tela tapos pagkalibing po sa sis in law isinama na po ang telang puti un po yung buto ng mama ko..thanks for watching po
Renting is for a specific time period.
grave box 2 ?
I know that im going to be an inventor, but i am not going to be buried and exhumed, im just gonna be buried in an undisclosed location so nobody can disturb me while i rest in peace
Which undisclosed location?
antarctica!
May I ask why they were exhumed?

You know the world is way too overpopulated when you have to dig up your loved ones so other people can bury theirs. Just stop having children people…
There Are in a nice safe place now let God RIP them
How long has the person been buried? What the coffin was made of? No clothes left in the coffin?
Why were they exhumed to start with
Great video but I feel is you shouldn't remove any body once thy are layind to rest but great video
