Hey guys! We've been wanting to cover this one for ages and finally did it. WE LOVE THIS SONG! 😍 Of course nothing can ever come close to Queen's original, but it's amazing how well the song works as an instrumental. We were so happy to work with our friends from the Dover Quartet again on this one...they are so much fun and such incredible players. On another note, we wanted to thank all of you for helping us hit 400,000 subscribers a few days ago! You are the BEST. ❤️ (Also, thank you for all the lovely well wishes for our upcoming baby...we're getting pretty excited!)

I was going to say "no words"', but I realize that I actually have many words to say about what you've done here. Having first heard this song when it was released in 1975, we just knew that this composition was destined for greatness. I want to say that Freddie Mercury composed this as a satire of classical opera, but I must say that it's very essence is, in fact, the dynamics and passion of the operatic genre. And we all know that Freddie had a passion for the dramatic. That is why this song has endured as one of the great anthems in the annals of rock history. A little bird told me that this was a major achievement for Brooklyn Duo, together with Dover, one of the world's great young String Quartets. Yet I was still unprepared for what I heard this morning. This arrangement was absolutely perfect and captured, first, the true essence of this song. But what was truly impressive were the musical nuances of every section by every instrument from 6 classical musicians who, individually, are at the top of their game, yet collectively, as an ensemble, are absolutely exquisite in execution. I don't know of anyone who has achieved more in the category of classical-rock crossover than you. Congratulations on such an achievement, and thanks for all that you do.

Justin, this is no joke: 3 times the song has hit the charts 1 initial release 2 Soundtrack to Waynes World 3 the movie. No other song has done that. Also, cover bands doing this song and others play a note down, their singers can't match the original and last but not least the song itself. It's actually a composition with 5 verses and no chorus. Each verse carries it's own genre, 1st verse Acapella 2nd Ballad 3rd Opera 4th Rock 5th Coda. Can you think of any other song that carries those kinds of credentials?? Me neither. You're welcome. Move aside stairway to heaven, there's a new and old one taking your place. After all, the show must go on...

I've been listening to this song for more than 40 years. It's like it's printed in my ears by now. But what you did here is absolutely wonderful. I heard Freddy singing when you were playing. It was perfect! Congratulations to the six of you for bringing classical instruments out of the classical world with such elegance, talent and joyfulness.

I remember my aunt telling me of an amazing song that she had heard on the radio. It turned out to be Bohemian Rhapsody, and she loved it, despite disliking modern music. It took a long time to convince her that it was not from an opera.
This is the beauty of this piece of music. It is timeless. One commentator wrote it's the greatest piece ever written. Well it is certainly there amongst the greats, and will probably be astonishing people for centuries to come with both it's freshness and its timeless appeal.

Well, this is by far the most "coverable" Queen song: you can play it any way you want, on any set of instruments using almost any words.... and it ALWAYS sounds great (well, almost, lol). It is in the realm of Pure Music - like Bach for example: you can transcribe his music onto anything even rubber chickens and it sounds wonderful.

What a phenomal arrangement which certainly made the difference between this becoming just another cover and it being one of the best, perhaps best, instrumental covers of Bohemian Rhapsody that I've ever heard. Equally as important were the wonderfully talented and passionate musicians who gave a voice to the music/arrangement and brought this music to life. Each instrument's voice was clear and it's purpose pure. Absolutely outstanding!
