I've printed with their foaming TPU and the calibration for flow is pretty much the same procedure and I found similar results of around a 45% flow rate for the top temp. It gets more flexible at the higher temps as well as lighter weight which is pretty neat.
Yes please print a RC. RC is what got me into printing with my first printer being a ender 3 pro back in 2019! So many custom parts and accessories can be made
I wonder if you can experiment with different nozzle sizes for different results. For example using a THICC nozzle might help you push the heat and expansion higher
I wonder if I can make custom form fitting packaging with this.Would be very useful if I can. Oh yea, also how well does this expanded pla insulate I wonder.
Having designed and built several long-range 2m wingspan UAVs, including composite laminated and fully 3d printed ones, I can say that 3d printed planes break even if you look at them the wrong way. One bad landing, and it's a million pieces of plastic, while something like foam laminated with fiberglass doesn't break even when it collides with a tree at 50km/h, which I've also done.
Pei is my favorite over glass. Glass can be nice for certain materials that need special adhesives but for standard printing it’s unnecessary and can chip.
@@ModBotArmy You then almost IMMEDIATELY claim to describe it's active foaming properties which makes it unique. If there are other active foaming lightweight PLA filaments, then it isn't unique. You can't have it both ways, hence my comment. Just saying.

Used it have build and flown 4 rc planes 2 eclipson and 2 plane print Its a excellent product Print on a Fulsun SR and a stock enderv2 .using cura 5.2
I saw a plane design called the HAWK (also from the make it fly competition) that looked cool. It might be something to consider printing

Add strength and this is the future of filament for sure imagine a 1kg spool printing for 3 months 😅
Please do a video on the prefoamed. I can’t find esun anywhere and colorfabb is too expensive in my opinion

Hey. Could u explain what composite laminated means. I'm tryna find a way to reinforce my prints.
@@redlightning2367 It basically means carbon fiber or fiberglass cloth that has epoxy/polyester resin put onto it, and then hardened

Not unique. 3d Lab Print has their own line of foaming lightweight PLA filament as well.
I say at the beginning what we cover will be the same for other active foaming PLA 👍
