1:58 Pretty brave to take a dragonflys rage like that head on. I knew the spears dodge slash was going to be good, but I didnt think it was that good. Well done!
I really liked tanking dragonfly with shields! block timer goes exactly from attack to attack, so it was a very relaxed fight (outside of rage phase, so i had to use flute)
Elding spear is very fun but its way too expensive to craft. Even though you need 2 volt goat horns to craft it and a late game item (restrained static) to upgrade it, it has less damage than a dark sword. Meanwhile Willow has one of the highest DPS in the game on day 1.
I don't care much about cost or how early power spike will come. I think skilltree system is forcused to lategame balancing (after rift activated) and improving charactor's feature. Wigfrid is already amazing at early~lategame content without skilltree. (dealing EVERY single boss with lower amount of resouces, song buff is welcome at team.) So, later power spike is understandable and requireing lategame item can be good motivation to advance the game.
It's tough to gather the horns, but if you're an experienced player, you'll be able to bring a construction amulet back from ruins and make a couple of them. I think they're more of a utility item until you start the moonstorms up, but if you aim for Celestial Champion from day 1, you can usually defeat Crab King before or during your first Spring and get the three altars set up. And anyways, nothing is truly far away from you if you're beefalo taming (which you will be if you're trying to do any part of the Celestial Champion sequence). I agree with the poster of the video. It's okay that Wigfrid's highest potential doesn't come out until mid-game to late-game, because she is already quite powerful without her new skill tree perks. I just wish her lunar/shadow songs were worth getting at all. 5% extra damage is hardly worth it for a small group, let alone when you're solo.
I also found the spear underwhelming for it's cost. In early game it's too expensive to use as your main weapon and dark swords usually deal more damage anyways. Post-moonstorm is great though. I thought the damage would be too low to be effective against planar enemies, but even compared to the shadow reaper I *think* it's not too far behind? If only the spear still had it's uncharged durability regen like in the beta. I learned to speedrun the route to celestial champion just to upgrade this weapon as early as possible. I think in my next run I'll use the construction amulet and deconstruction staff to repair the spear and see if it can lower my time any. Though it was my first time ever doing the lunar route, 90 days was way too long a time and I really want to get a faster time so I can more handily assist in public servers.
@@circledline3880 I made 5 of them in a public server and used 3 to kill the fuelweaver. I guess it was luck, but just killing some volt goats I was getting like 2-4 horns each time, and I had a construction amulet.
I dont know much about any of the major things focused on in this clip (chracter, boss, skills), but wouldnt it have been possible to dash strike to dodge dragonfly's attacks? I noticed it restores durability.
I think it won't work. Not like Deerclops and Bearger, Dfly and most mobs can attack every direction. In this video, I used dash strike while Dfly is keep moving and passed behind her to get out from her attack range.
i wish it wasn't so hard to get, like 2 volt goat horns a pretty penny but alr ill do it... and then its a scam, doesnt regenerate and you need to fight 2 raid bosses for it

I like this fight, nice job
Very impressive 😮!!!
How are you not taking damage from D-fly’s fire? I thought fireproof falsetto only partially protects you from fire damage
idk much about previous Wigfrid.
But I heard Klei buffed the song protects us from 100% of fire damage at this update.
@@syawasanYeah. I saw it as a test change on the site they keep track of that stuff. I didn't know it was fully added, though.
楽しそう

awesome
Awesome
that was a pretty average fight until you started tanking enraged dfly's fire. Usually fighting enraged requires very precision placement hahaha
Good, IOI
Nah bro, cool played!
wow
