No joke, recently I was watching your RE8 DLC run with my brother and my mom sat down to watch, she said "why does he look like Chad Kroger?"
That happened to me as well when I watched Assist Me years ago -- my mom literally thought he was Nick Cage (she was a fan of Con Air hahaha)

I am almost certain in an old episode of assist me max met another version of himself and both said something like "oh my god it's chad kroeger" and "oh my god it's nick cage"

Ripley’s “I love you” at the end melted my heart. The fact she said it into the microphone showed she wanted it to be heard, that she loves her daddy.

Honestly wish we could get a monthly or maybe seasonal highlight video. I know there's more than what gets included in these annual recaps and those of us who can't catch most streams are really missing out in these moments.

Special shout-outs to the editors for this incredible compilation. The edits this year were hysterical; especially the Steve one with Texas Chainsaw Massacre game.
I lost way too many hours of sleep dying of laughter from so many streams this year. But most of all, my damn heart hearing Ripley say "I love you" to Max at the end. Got me teary-eyed lol
That ending is so wholesome
The Mario 64 penguin level had me in absolute tears the first time, and I'm glad to relive it now 😂
"Just let it slide you down to the snowman's head, with the penguin in your hands! It's practically idiot-proof, unless you forget to jump at the end, haha... wait, Max, jump! JUMP! WHAT'RE YOU DOING, DOOD!?"
Everyone was _dying_ during that section. His playthrough is objectively the best and funniest playthrough I've ever seen.
... It's just a shame he watched pannenkoek's "half-press" video and went insane right after.
@@KalibreSteelblast I feel as though few things will top the moments in his career that showed how knowledgeable, yet how helpless he can get in an instant, as the moment he described Negative Edge, only to swiftly be hit with "Parallel Universes" and just look like "Oh... Oh god, I'm learning the words as written upon the ancient scrolls... FORBIDDEN KNOWLEDGE! AAAH!"

Every year I watch these, I'm just reminded of the late 90's and early 2000's days of sleepovers, and how those were some of the best days of my life. I just wish that I could have a consistent meetup with the boys like you all do, just doing what you love with games old and new. Many blessings to all of you and have a great year filled with joy. Mario 64 time travel was my favorite '23 moment, had me in stitches. Been loving the Lethal Company streams lately too. Thanks for all the great streams Max. I really wish I could watch more live, but it's very hard in a Euro time zone. Very glad to have VOD's and YT. I think it speaks volumes that for someone who's not even into fighting games, I spend so much time watching your stuff. My favorite channel on Twitch.
