@Iridethedirt In the mountains u have thermal winds that go up the slopes, which create extra lift you won't have if you're kiting in a flat area, which means you get extra hangtime, just like they use it in paragliding and such
maybe the kites dont create that much lift, but when the mountain drops out from under you, it can take longer to reach the ground... its not fake, just incredible.

The airs were amazing. It seems like this sport would be really hazardous if there was a lot of 'traffic' on the mountain, That said, this music would have to improve a lot to get all the way up to just extremely annoying. But what do I know .....I was born during the Battle of Kursk.
