Sorry about the delay y'all. We tried to upload earlier but kept getting blocked...took 8 times to successfully get this one up. Moving forward we'll be doing more episode discussion stuff and covering multiple episodes at once. Appreciate the patience and support!
Thanks for the feedback, man. We appreciate it. Might package episodes 2, 3, 4 into a single video to keep pace--but we're loving the new season as well.
That first fight with Ah Sahm and Li Yong broken up by the arrival of the police felt like two rivals just ITCHING to settle a score! Hope we see more scraps between them as the season continues.
This episode was fantastic a really strong opening that gets even better with the 3 episodes that came after. Just happy one of the best shows on tv is back can’t believe it’s been 2 years since season 2
We'll end up bunching episode 2/3/4 into a larger discussion video together, mainly because HBO kept blocking us when we tried to use too many scenes from one episode but don't worry we'll cover a lot of stuff from 3. The next video will be more of a discussion post episode 4 and we'll recap each character's arc so far so that will cover a lot of the main points.
This is such a good recap and discussion! I honestly prefer this kind of commentary over reactions but those seem to be the most popular. This kind makes me think more about the episode and where the show is going…
Appreciate that. We do our best to balance the essentials with a little humor. Personally we like making this style of video more, even if it takes a little more work behind the scenes. Love what they've done with this season so far.
Yeah she’s a very interesting character and serves as a good foil to the villains in the show. She’s wealthy and white yet still cares about the underprivileged and abused Chinese girls. Curious to see how she gets back at Douglas
look no question of was it fake, if they say later that it was or was not it wont matter what will is in the turn of the 20th century all money was kinda fake
@@winterhillwarriors im in the middle of episode 6 now. This show always surprise me with how well rounded the characters are that they can pair them up differently in each episode yet it deels completely natural. The world feels lived in
Yeah it’s one of the many things this show does so well. All of the actors are pretty high level, so even in small roles they display a ton of personality. For example Happy Jack. He has a small role in season 2, but even in those few lines, we can learn a lot about his personality so when he’s acting with guys like Lee, it feels natural
We’re working on it right now, gonna be an episode 2-4 discussion in 1 video. Gonna go through the major characters and highlight what’s happened so far and discuss some things. Episode 4 was a big turning point so this will be a great place to wrap up the first chunk of the season
Atwood is not like Rudy Giuliani by comparision. Atwood was more like Bull Connor of Birmingham, Ala back in the 50s and 60s towards African Americans and other minorities in the Civil Rights era with his brutal racist tactics. Guiliani was not beating the crap out of Chinese immigrants or any minorities like Atwood. Giuliani had to clean up the shit stack left over by the previous mayors Dinkins and Koch. You guy ever live in New York during the 70s and early 90s, it was high crime and poverty. Diblasio and Adams reverted NYC back to the way it was in the 70s a total hellscape. Word of advice don't make unfair comparisons about people when you have no idea about history or even the Warrior characters.

Loving the idea of these recaps! Can't get enough of this show, and hearing you guys give Deep dive analyses is a cherry on top.

An amazing start. Halfway thru the season and think it’s about to hit overdrive in last 5 episodes 👍🏾🔥. Chatted w/Perry Yung and he confirms.
That's awesome. It was crazy seeing him again-- episodes 4/5 were some of the wildest in a long time.

Yeah this season I wanna see a scrap that’s better than Ah Sahm vs. Li Yong 1 or Ah Sahm vs. Leary
Hope they get sticky 😰
Hello fellow warrior fan. Good to see other people talking about this show. Cheers 🍻
Likewise! It’s great to see more content creators focusing on this show, hopefully it helps spread the word

Yeah the first 4 episodes have been mind blowing honestly. They came back strong this season
@@winterhillwarriors yeah it’s been amazing can’t wait for you guys to review episode 3 that’s my favorite episode of the season at this moment

I was Happy to see Nellie getting alot more screen time, she’s objectively just one of the best and kindest people in the series 🙌

With Penny not there looks like the elevated Nellie to the main role...also Abigail got a lot of screen time first 2ep
Show just gets better and better..
Yeah the writing this season has been immaculate
@@winterhillwarriors I have a feeling Kang pak will reveal his true intentions later on.
Yeah my guess is he's trying to get Li Yong to take over for Mai Ling. By infiltrating the Long Zii he can cause dissent from within
Great Show👍🔥
Hopefully THIS season Leary gonna cross Path WITH Li Yong 🤜🤛
We can only hope. Feels like we're due for some absolute showdowns by the end of the season.
The $100 they gave Chao for the guns .i wonder if they were counterfeit
Very good chance. Nice catch-- hadn't really thought about that.
look no question of was it fake, if they say later that it was or was not it wont matter what will is in the turn of the 20th century all money was kinda fake
Made me thought of something else..if they print their own bills...why didn't they spend extra and buy the better $200 guns
Was looking for a community for this show. Good review. Sub earned!
Appreciate that! We’re working on an episode 6/7 combined discussion video that will drop this weekend

As a leader you can't just dismiss everything coming from your advisors...
Fax. Great leaders know how to delegate and rely on their advisors
