1:09 The “dark times” are forecasted to last 30,000 years, not 1000. Hari predicts that this period could be shortened to 1000 years if the Foundation succeeds.
This is a good recap overall, but the script has some confusing clear errors and the audio needs better editing. Someone needs to be editing the script in particular.
Finally, a show that includes cloning that acknowledges that clones do not come out as fully grown adults. In some Sci Fi shows and movies (and in the Qanon world in the present) show clones as created adult beings. It could make sense in some Sci Fi as way in the future there may become a way to "decant" them as adults and the need to start them from babies isn't required. (I think it is referred to as "decanting' in Orwell's 1984, but I'm not 100% sure,) But, given the technology we have now (and in the past up until now), 'they' would have had to created Hillary Clinton 70 odd years ago as a baby in order for her to be ready to replace her with her clone in order that she could be sitting in Guantanamo Bay awaiting trial and execution. I guess Qanon could say that her clone is a reptilian and that their tech has the ability to create clones as adults. In some movies, it may be appropriate to the story to have the clones created adults; but, if the tech hasn't changed much from our own world, clones have to be created as babies.
I haven't watched the series yet BUT it sounds like it's also using some of the ideas from the 2nd Foundation Trilogy done by Benford, Brin and Bear and according to those books R Daneel Olivaw is quite a puppet master
This was voiced (and probably written) by AI so there is some strange pronunciation and they get things wrong sometimes, like pronouns, which can make it a little difficult to folow, BUT it is still a very good recap and very helpful.

You really cannot get a real recap of this Series without simply watching it all again. You can't grasp the complexity of the storylines within this tiny time limit. Als9 the bot narration is incorrect in many places mispronouncing words.
@@SeriesRecapEng Per example, when Sheldon announces his predictions he reveals the post-empire dark ages to last for thirty thousand years, not a thousand. And that the Foundation could shrink those thirty thousand to one thousand, and not hundreds.
I understand why the producers of this show added certain details that weren't in the books. I get it. However, why do they have to hammer us over the head with inclusive bullshit. Every single leader is a woman with big balls while most of the male characters get killed off. This isn't good writing. It's pandering. This series will be long forgotten by the time it's all said and done.
Now THAT was a recap! 🙌🏼 thank you! The official Apple TV recap was wayy too brief, leaving out all kinds of key summary points

Thank you for reminding myself and other fans of this important detail from Season 1.
Thanks
Excellent recap, although the cadence of the robot voice is a little jarring.
I’m in search of a better one)
Sounds like the robot Demerzel in the show.
Mutherfuking AI!!!
Especially an American robot 😂 Try a South African accent 🤣

This is the best foundation recap on youtube.
Which isn't saying much as they are all terrible.
See, that's how you make a recap. Well done!
The Cleons line is absolutely amazing, looking forward to watching the new season

Awesome recap thank you
Take a shot every time AI says “the old man” 😅
😀
Very cool video, thank you very much!!❤
Really love this series
Waiting for the season 2

Thanx for the video) it was great)

I've TOTALLY missed that twist at the end. Holy moly! 🤯 11:35
Awesome Recap!

The start of the real Clone Wars.

'Decanting' was the term used by Aldous huxley in Brave new World

Needed this explanation seriously did not understand what was going on 😢😂
I love the tone of the show. I think i will just watch it again before season 2.
This was voiced (and probably written) by AI so there is some strange pronunciation and they get things wrong sometimes, like pronouns, which can make it a little difficult to folow, BUT it is still a very good recap and very helpful.
I wrote it myself, but English is not my native language 😅
@@SeriesRecapEng That makes sense, since I know some languages like Spanish can omit the pronouns altogether. Thanks for the work you put into this!
@@SeriesRecapEngthat explains why so bad.
Why does no one on the show pronounce the R at the end of Salvor?
Good show. But very very loosely based on the source material.
Agree
Apple's Foundation seems to have the same casting agent as their product showcase videos.
We get it, black female = savour, white male = oppressor.
Some day white males will receive the respect, power and wealth that they deserve.
Yeah. Quite refreshing. 😊
Yes historically accurate. White male oppressor was certainly the case through Africa, South Asia and South America.

Double check spelling mistakes that makes your AI script read the wrong things next time 🙂
I will try)

the story is very simple, don't exaggerate 😀
@@SeriesRecapEng It isn't. You just don't have the intelligence to grasp the finer nuances.
Hahaha… ok ok, smart guy 🤡
👍
This recap has many mistakes and lacks accuracy! Useful in general lines as a recap, but as said, not accurate.
What kind of inaccuracies?
@@SeriesRecapEng Per example, when Sheldon announces his predictions he reveals the post-empire dark ages to last for thirty thousand years, not a thousand. And that the Foundation could shrink those thirty thousand to one thousand, and not hundreds.
something else? or only one mistake?
The voice is weird and pronounces a lot of words wrong…
eah... AI is not ideal
I honestly couldn't watch this because of the weird AI voice over being so disconcerting.

It really looks like you're the only one to give a shit about this. Maybe its more of a you problem then it is a writers problem.
Woke Olympics man
What's a matter ?can't handle inclusivity?. Even though it's just a story. So pathetic lol..
This computer voice over is rough… 😂
