Not that it should be permanent, but when you're down, it has a reason and you need to process something. I was really down, almost destroyed myself, broke my hand and much more. Right now, after 2 weeks, I slowly get better. Focus on Uni again, work out more, train a positive and still realistic mindset, work on my restaurant and other business And I still sulk over her sometimes, I allow myself to be sad for the good times and for that I wish for more. But I also know, there are so many more, that deserve our love (NoHomo) There are so many more that fit to me, there've been before as well. So never giving up is truly key. I’m actually going through some similar situations and that’s exactly what I’m doing focusing on me and while living with her I’m doing things differently... I stop forgetting about me, started analyzing the wrong things I’ve been doing, I started taking the lead,complimenting her indirectly, listening to her and sharing things that happened through the day, when she comes home if she’s not i do the meal, when we’re going out she never know where we going all I say are you free if she says ok then i tell her to get dressed and surprise her. I’ve been practicing it’s a little hard but worth it if you want to save your family my wife said she loves me but she feel lost and wants to find herself so giving her time and on my side doing my part as a man without forgetting where I’m going has helped me a lot.

The only thing that you can really do is work on yourself. Its not that easy to just walk away from somebody that you really care about. And in those situations you will have a scarcity mindset because those woman are hard to come by. Meeting woman and hooking up is easy, but finding someone you care about is super rare.

When no contact isn't always the option, and you have done everything, created boundaries, change your mindset, by not reacting to test, also stop chasing and working on you sometimes it's just patience and stay on the path. Especially if a kid is involved it's difficult but reality do everything right all you can do is wait. Break ups are hard but if you work on you and change you in the end its not always going to end by getting someone back. That's the last step accepting the reality.

This is so true, I was in a relationship where it was pretty much over. She had me at her full control and at the tip of her fingers. We had four kids is she constantly instigated arguments for me to leave. I was trying so hard to save my marriage by telling her I loved her fighting for her etc. But one day something clicked in my brain and said I'm not taking this anymore. So I no longer focus on her and 100% focus on me. I started working out everyday for at least one hour a day lost a bunch of weight and most importantly stop giving her the time of day. I don't know what clicked in her stupid little brain but now she's telling me how I have everything I look at I am to have what I have as far as marriage kids house etc instead of wanting me to leave all the time. When we went out other woman looked at me and I think I made her realize that I could move on that I definitely could move on but you was trying to make me do and pretty much abandoned my home. The main reason I didn't do it is because I knew that if I left it will be considered abandonment and I will have everything to lose in a divorce. Anyway so lesson here is work on yourself first for some reason that will make your spouse realize that you're much much more than they thought you were or it will remind them why they married you in the first place. She broke up with me because she’s afraid of the future and I’ve been the only long term guy in her life. I constantly catch myself displaying behaviors you’ve stated like wanting to get her back or being afraid that if I don’t talk to her, she’s gonna fall for another man. Im switching colleges next year as a part of my program and that’s a major reason why she broke up with me, but I know I’m right for her because our similarities and chemistry are something she won’t find here. Hell we were together on and off for two years (initial breakup after a year then we tried to get back together) and the spark never went away. I say all that to say this, I stuck by her she pretty much wanted me there until she figured it all out and im not saying anything is wrong with that but I lost myself in the process. What happened was i was working for the electricity company for 10 years had a cool job a lot of freedom. They investigated me for being over in that area too much, which I never knew was a problem, but they ended up firing me. 3 months later she ended up moving back up north to be with her youngest which I understood BUT I should had looked out for myself. I should had still supported her but not over my own goals and aspirations. We are still together and madly in love but im stick trying to pick up the pieces of what I knew for so long to be my life and lifestyle. I wont lie it hurts my whole life changed in a blink of an eye and I have to just keep pushing. Fellas, everyone but especially fellas never lose sight of yourself.

Great video. Thank you. I met a good woman with some past issues. I unfortunately thought that I could "show her the light". Yea, no. So with me doing that I lost myself, lost the person that I KNOW I am. I seriously thought that could never happen. But this relationship has been an awesome learning experience for me. Once I started to just chill which is my normal self. Things changed. Sometimes we get intimidated by a person and we feel like we need to match up with them or they're past and what they're used to. But along the lines we tend to forget that THIS person is with us for a reason. F@#k they're past and what they did or who they were with. They're with YOU. What I got from this video is maintain strength, it always wins.

I’m actually going through some similar situations and that’s exactly what I’m doing focusing on me and while living with her I’m doing things differently... I stop forgetting about me, started analyzing the wrong things I’ve been doing, I started taking the lead,complimenting her indirectly, listening to her and sharing things that happened through the day, when she comes home if she’s not i do the meal, when we’re going out she never know where we going all I say are you free if she says ok then i tell her to get dressed and surprise her. I’ve been practicing it’s a little hard but worth it if you want to save your family my wife said she loves me but she feel lost and wants to find herself so giving her time and on my side doing my part as a man without forgetting where I’m going has helped me a lot.

The one key factor I would like to highlight is that never compliment a girl too much like if she sends you a pic don’t just say wow u r so cute , maybe you can simply say I like your style or I like your eyebrows, and most important is that you should not show your love to her all the time unless she says it first and don’t always be available for texting , girls like to think if this guy really loves me or not . If a girl feels like that she is the only one in your life and she is the most important thing to you then you won’t be getting that attention you deserve 😉

I love this. I met a woman and I let my emotions get the best of me. We had so much in common, wanted the same things, and had seemingly natural chemistry. Then I believe I took the fun and it being light out and was coming off needy! Oh no! She said she wasn’t ready and needy time. Boom. Wow. Now I know what I did wrong. I am currently focusing on me. I’ve done this before so I can do this! Whether or not she comes back is not relevant to me. Because I know the next woman I’ll react better! I will give the other woman all the time she wants. The only thing that you can really do is work on yourself. Its not that easy to just walk away from somebody that you really care about. And in those situations you will have a scarcity mindset because those woman are hard to come by. Meeting woman and hooking up is easy, but finding someone you care about is super rare.

It's been a bitter pill to swallow. I have stepped back for her to find this man. She contacts me from time to time but I don't want to hear that she found another man. I have taken steps back to focus on me.

When no contact isn't always the option, and you have done everything, created boundaries, change your mindset, by not reacting to test, also stop chasing and working on you sometimes it's just patience and stay on the path. Especially if a kid is involved it's difficult but reality do everything right all you can do is wait. Break ups are hard but if you work on you and change you in the end its not always going to end by getting someone back. That's the last step accepting the reality.

This is so true, I was in a relationship where it was pretty much over. She had me at her full control and at the tip of her fingers. We had four kids is she constantly instigated arguments for me to leave. I was trying so hard to save my marriage by telling her I loved her fighting for her etc. But one day something clicked in my brain and said I'm not taking this anymore. So I no longer focus on her and 100% focus on me. I started working out everyday for at least one hour a day lost a bunch of weight and most importantly stop giving her the time of day. I don't know what clicked in her stupid little brain but now she's telling me how I have everything I look at I am to have what I have as far as marriage kids house etc instead of wanting me to leave all the time. When we went out other woman looked at me and I think I made her realize that I could move on that I definitely could move on but you was trying to make me do and pretty much abandoned my home. The main reason I didn't do it is because I knew that if I left it will be considered abandonment and I will have everything to lose in a divorce. Anyway so lesson here is work on yourself first for some reason that will make your spouse realize that you're much much more than they thought you were or it will remind them why they married you in the first place. Thank you so much. You’ve reinforced what I’ve been told and elaborated to a point where I know what I’m doing is right. I had a girl who rocked my world. She broke up with me because she’s afraid of the future and I’ve been the only long term guy in her life. I constantly catch myself displaying behaviors you’ve stated like wanting to get her back or being afraid that if I don’t talk to her, she’s gonna fall for another man. Im switching colleges next year as a part of my program and that’s a major reason why she broke up with me, but I know I’m right for her because our similarities and chemistry are something she won’t find here. Hell we were together on and off for two years (initial breakup after a year then we tried to get back together) and the spark never went away. She makes these decisions off of her brain not her heart which I can respect but it sucks because I get led on by this woman because she really likes me. Ughhhh. Gonna try to talk to other girls but this campus is 65% guys.

I have lost the attention of a woman I really am in love with. She increasingly ignored my texts more and more until it became obvious to me that my value in her eyes is pretty low. I finally walked away (but I can’t call her an ex by any means). She’s told me several times she misses me, but at this point I’m not contacting her. We been talking for 4 months, been on and off. I blame me because of my actions I wasn’t really showing her I wanted to be with her. So she had friend zoned me. But after expressin how I really felt and I gave her some flowers she said that it was a eye opener that I showed her how much I cared. Now we back talking she says that it feels like she’s forced to like me and that we can get authentic feelings back but it’ll take time
I couldn't agree with ya more!!! I'm with my girl love her to death she literally is my soulmate. I live in So Cal area she lives up north. But in 2017 she moved to so cal to take a job. Orange county to be exact and I was in LA. Good distance between us. She has 2 kids, her eldest wanted to finish school up north so they didnt end up moving with her. This put a strain on her and her mental which was understandable but we were with eachother all the time. I was truly her rock, I was there for her, go by her place while at work in my work truck, clean up just take the stress away from her. When we got into a conversation about our relationship she wasnt ready between her kids the new place she moved to job etc etc she had a lot going on which I truly understood. I say all that to say this, I stuck by her she pretty much wanted me there until she figured it all out and im not saying anything is wrong with that but I lost myself in the process. What happened was i was working for the electricity company for 10 years had a cool job a lot of freedom. They investigated me for being over in that area too much, which I never knew was a problem, but they ended up firing me. 3 months later she ended up moving back up north to be with her youngest which I understood BUT I should had looked out for myself. I should had still supported her but not over my own goals and aspirations. We are still together and madly in love but im stick trying to pick up the pieces of what I knew for so long to be my life and lifestyle. I wont lie it hurts my whole life changed in a blink of an eye and I have to just keep pushing. Fellas, everyone but especially fellas never lose sight of yourself.

I love your advice and after listing to you I have discovered that I did exactly everything that I should not have done which I feel might have pushed her away. Right now my wife is at a loss, she is not in love with me, but feels bad that she doesn't feel the same way. She has a hard time letting go of past hurt and trusting me like I do her even though it's been over 3 years since the both of us cheated on each other. Right now she says that she wants to separate for at least a year and is unsure if we will even get back together. She has told me that she loves me, but not in love with me. I'm still unsure what to do to win her back, but I do know that I need to work on myself and you have shown me that. I gave her all of my attention and power and I stop focusing on what I wanted trying to make her happy. So since she is against counseling I am giving you a try to see if it helps get her to fall back in love with me again and trust me again.
