I love how you can use just plain notes and modulate it with the duty cycles to make the impression we're hearing actual voices. Awesome stuff as always!
@@ericdobek37 Not really a fan, but I've read everything already and liked it. R.C. is my favourite character from it, so I've chose him for my profile picture!
I think this might be the first time I’ve heard a Chiptunes cover of anything Stevie Wonder and now I just want more. Excellent interpretation and here’s hoping you do more.
I love how you played around with the solo to make it very vaguely sound like it's really singing the lyrics (I dunno how to express my words clearly but all in all it's a pretty wonderful rendition of the original)
Haha, so very wonderful! Going to extreme lengths to get every nuance and detail of Stevie’s original singing and harmonica solo, including the ”off-notes” is such a marvelous job! And a really nice touch to modulate the pwm per note in that way. I sometimes make chip/synth covers where I try to replicate every single note hit just because it is so fun to do it, but this one’s really special. Big thumbs up! Defintely subbed :)
Man, those leads are so good! The duty changing for different syllables sounds great, and the higher melody is almost indistinguishable from a real harmonica. Incredible attention to detail.
I always wondered why more people that know what they're doing with chiptune/soundchips don't make covers of well known songs. Like, imagine Hall & Oates on a genesis drive
goddamn the vocal fry in the "*so* very lovely" at 2:07
i'm always a sucker for chiptune leads that emulate vocals, stellar work
Perfect alternative universe in which Tim Follin and Stevie Wonder collabs in a NES game.

Yeah, and a great song in and of itself. 70s and 80s music will always be the best. Btw, are you a Sabrina Online fan?

That was genius, i didn't think about using duty cycles as pseudo vocals.
vibrato and shit makes it go
Chibi-tech would be proud.
The NES' triangle bass is great!!
Yes! Now I know I'm not the only person who loves it.
That's why I think it had better sound than the Sega Master System where the triangle channel is missing.

Nice, that lead sounds so Chibitech-esque!😄👌
Love this cover so much, amazing work.
I didn't even consider a square wave could make a perfect harmonica replica! Fantastic work, bro!
Really? I always thought of an harmonica when i use a square in my bass!!

Fantastic job! The harmonica part is was quite realistic…and it is amazing how well you have the lead singing the formants like Stevie Wonder.
What better way to remember the 70s, than the 80s?
I wonder if he could do casiopea next
You know how many times I’ve listened since I found this 7 months ago? 😂 still fantastic!
THIS IS SO GOOD!! I can even hear the vowels in the melody, not just the pitches!
I never thought I needed this, but I absolutely do now.
I had no idea this kind of music could even be presentable on a 2A03. Once again, you shatter my expectations.
Thank you grayfruit for bringing me here
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i've gained an appreciation for this song from playing it while i was in a jazz band and this just. augh, this is lovely
I don't know what I expected, but this blew me away. You really captured Stevie here in a way that is super special. Absolutely love this.

Ture wonders of famitraker
I'm a big Stevie Wonder fan but I'm also well versed in video game osts... this is a fantastic combination.
This sound like the ending theme when you finally rescued the princess and credits roll.
I will do anything for a Sir Duke cover next
This is a great cover! I'm impressed you did the arps line by line in Pulse 2. It's tedious but I guess it gives you the most control. great job!
Nice transcription & arrangement!
「 Y e s 」
I'm excited to see how many of these amazing famitracker nsfs work on the n8 pro... some amazing stuff...
I did not know I needed this in my life. Brilliant!

It almost reminded me of the title theme of beauty and the beast on nes

I want an NES cartridge that just plays the on repeat on the original hardware
strange, i was just listening to this song earlier..
ehre
Saying stuck in my head in the description is real, I can't listen to any other music for the time being.
Damn.
Now what we need is Pastime Paradise. Ir at least we would if Sonic was on the Nintendo...
definitely on the Sega genesis. Or he could use the VRC7 for the strings on Pastime Paradise.
@@theshyguy1580Maybe. Besides, there's already a cover of "Gangster's Paradise" on the Genesis chip, done by somebody else.
chibi-tech even did this!.
Famicom 2A03 Duty-cycle Vocaloid!.....
Thicc kicc
