    Yessss that’s a great tip! Babies don’t know that they’re babies. They only know what they can and cannot get away with so when you talk to them like an older child, their brain will grow better and become smarter!
    And yes speak both languages cuz they will learn the most out of both languages in their first 5yrs. Trying to teach them later is going to be a lot harder and chances of them being fluent isn’t likely unless they decide to learn on their own when they’re older.

    I'm not sure how to describe this but the amount of love you and Will have for Leo shines through in all your actions with Leo and Leo seems so happy and healthy.

    FINALLY got the chance to watch the video! I asked one of the questions and was so shocked to see it answered! Well said, Will and Jen. Respecting our kids and treating them how we would others is so crucial in their development. Thank you so much for sharing your parenting wisdom ❤️

    I have friends who were homeschooled! I would say it seems like an incredible opportunity for academic enrichment, and they’ve been able to really delve into their interests and take advantage of not having to stick to the school calendar, but it takes extra effort to ensure proper socialization and seek out external opportunities to regular interact with a relatively stable group of peers.

      Hi Jen, sorry a little off track here but we are travelling to Seoul from Australia in October. Our daughter will be 4 months old come then. Just wondering what the general perception of breastfeeding in public is there. What should I expect/prepare for?
      Also also must do's in Seoul ? :) We will be there for one week?

    Loved getting to hear your hearts on these questions. 🥰 As for homeschooling; I started homeschooling my 3 littles a few years ago because I felt the Lord calling me to do it. To be honest- it was quite overwhelming at first, but I have enjoyed every part of it! I love that I get the privilege to meet my children where they are and walk with them academically, spiritually and emotionally--teaching them and being the first influence in their lives to help them lay a good foundation of morals, values and soooo much more! We also get to travel off season and visit historical sites and count it as school etc...if you ever have any questions at all, please reach out! ❤️

    Re: homeschooling, it’s becoming more and more popular in the US and Canada. Parents aren’t happy with how the public system focuses so much on “woke” ideologies. Another reason is because some boards have made the covid vax mandatory for students.
    Would love to hear what homeschooling is like in Korea!

    • @Solip_i
      @Solip_i 2 роки тому +1

      What do you mean about woke ideologies ?

    • @YangLoves
      @YangLoves 2 роки тому +1

      if you mean science-led ideologies then you'll be in for a suprise 😅 a lot of homeschooling (nowadays) is based on the same curriculums as normal school so that they can sit the same exam boards, but the kids can be less distracted by naughty classmates. this probably will end up in more 'woke' ideologies since they can look at society from a neutral and unbiased stance.

    Michelle phan raised a very good point her parents argued about $$$. There is a reason not to get married. I feel when the French lived in Vietnam. The Vietnamese learned to be really giving in marriage. Then when a korean dude marries a Vietnamese girl. They find their wife should spending cost.

    I don’t understand what is wrong with Busan, Incheon, New Sejong, etc.. for a tiny country why the focus on Seoul? Not just you but the entire country seems so focused on that tiny area and more the half the country doesn’t live there and I assume some are happy? Surely COVID showed everyone you can engineer software and do all sorts of jobs from anywhere?

    • @meejmuse
      @meejmuse  2 роки тому +1

      Nothing's wrong with those places at all! I love Busan more than Seoul in terms of culture food nature and vibes. Anywhere slightly outside of Seoul gets insanely beautiful especially in the warmer seasons and is also very baby-friendly. But Seoul, which also has its appeals, is our abode for now as it's where Will works (no option to work remotely with his field) :) We have properties outside of Seoul and would totally be down to live there if it really came down to it/was possible one day. But to answer your bit about Korea seemingly being focused on Seoul, it is the busiest and most developed capital, home to all of its core big business headquarters & advancements, so it simply is the 'eye' of the country esp for the ambitious young ones - nothing biased about it but just an inevitable! Hope that answers your pondering 😊
