In simple terms, the Sicilian Mafia used Stalin's technic of Purging all higher-ups! Sadly all those ambitious foot soldiers who rose up from nothing.. Honourable, old school, Ethical or not, got erased! Plain terrible for those whom valued the old ways. Sicily is basically like Mexico for most Italians. Suprisingly I'd say good on the American Mafias' for not behaving in such a manner. The Gambinos are respectably professional & active. They've made a solid comeback since John Gotti's time. Down to a science, ethical as possible, & discreet 👏

@@vickysib0611 idk what ur implying or asking but I said in my comment that my grandfather did work for the Gambino crime family, which is true to the extent idk but all he told me was he did construction for them, but he was really close with a few people in the crime family so he might’ve done more. Billy Batts died in 1970 my grandfather died in 2019.
