Everyone keeps on raving about the new Hyundai i20 N-Line and how Hyundai is catering to the enthusiast market and for some reason people cannot let go of the ancient but potent VW Polo TSI. But what if we told you, there is a car that takes all of the great aspects of both of those cars and combines in one single package? Enter, the Suzuki Baleno RS, equipped with the 1.0L Turbo 3-Cyl callde the Booster Jet. The Suzuki Baleno RS is a very rare find, but if you get one, it basically has the same performance as the VW Polo TSI and Hyundai i20 N-Line but combines it with easy maintenance. This particular example is modified to Stage 2 with a host of mods, watch the whole video to find out!

bro I had a question, can we just flash a tune from the international version of this engine to get stock 110 hp. it would be awesome cause the power to weight ratio will be better and the new car the fornx might feel a bit alive just stage 1 without losing warranty without changing any parts on the vehicle. I own a 2019 Baleno RS in my garage , this thing is just perfect. This does not feel like a maruti Suzuki it is so much more than that .

I had an AEW exhaust on my 650 GT, I fucking sold that exhaust to a guy in INDORE in 2months just because our police in bandra knows who AEW is, you can't even fool them they are so fucking informed 😅😂 they just caught me once and threatened to destroy my exhaust and impound my bike until I bring the stock ones and fit them and then take my bike home.
Oh, I believed they would do that. They would really destroy the exhaust in front of my eyes. It's better to sell and gain some money 😂😂😂

i dont get you guys you've got a stage 2 rs but there are no statistics to show how better it is compared to a stock one, just general info of aesthetics. we wanna see some numbers and pls take it to a open patch get it compared.
What about the fronx that is launched by Suzuki which has the same boosterjet engine (localised). Will those engine parts work for RS too?

Since the Baleno is based on the HEARTECT platform, and internationally this platform has AWD variations, do you think it's possible to retrofit a AWD system to the Baleno? It would be wild I think...
It's better to import a swift sport awd , awd system can alone cost upward of 5 lakhs to import , you need a expert to install. There are some differences in the axel setup too. Our cars have smaller and locally made one.
Fronx now gets the same engine along with 1.2 NA

Not really. Booster jet engine were imported rather than made in india. K10 for all its might would probably crack with all that turbo pressure.
@@ak06041 the K10 itself is an international engine that powers altos in other countries. And the boosterjet is the turbo version of the K10, with upgraded internals of course.

Information is incomplete until you tell us who did the tune and where the car was worked upon. Where was it dyno tested? Why didn’t you show a print? Or is the 138bhp claim just out of the hat?

The video can be vastly improved. The scripting is below average, to be respectful. Things are repeated from the first video, very less details about the driving dynamics and useless information being shared.
Stage 2 cost
Its not a replacement for a Polo or an i20 nline
Ford aspire diesel titanium 2017 (2nd owner) 55k km driven- 3.70lakh. it has 2 airbags.
Problem- Steering is not coming to its original centre position after turning( what would be the cost to repair it?) And one tire is not good.
Is it good deal?
Or
Honda jazz s diesel 2016 2nd owner-50k km driven. Asking price-3.50lakh
Or
MS Baleno rs 2017 2nd owner- 60k km driven- asking price- 4.30lakh.
The Ford Aspire and the Jazz may have similar fuel economies of above 18 in city and 22+ in highways.
Baleno is out of the list cuz of its build quality and driving dynamics is not as the other counterparts.
Ford aspire maybe a good choice but parts are bit pricey as well as check if there are dealerships around nearby and service will be available for the next 9 yrs from Ford.
Jazz Diesel is on the reliability side but diesel engine is not refined aka makes lot of noise but maintanence of an Honda is less often and usually maintanence is basically on wearable items like clutch,brakes etc that occur after a long interval of usage and usually there are very less small problems occuring in Honda cars!
My verdict is if engine refinement is not an issue then get the Jazz (including less frequent maintanence) or get the Aspire for good engine refinement.
@@JayzAut0 I drove that aspire. Its engine is super peppy and realy fun to drive. Only thing holding me is steering issue
Go for the RS. The other two or just any other hatch doesn’t even remotely match up.

Don't take the diesel Jazz, it's shit. Honda's are not cheap to maintain. I think the diesel aspire would be a good option, that steering issue can be sorted with a repair or a replacement but worth it i think. RS would be a great option if you love turbo petrols.

Sorry but a stage 2 Polo tsi easily does 150+ hp and 200+ nm torque, which comes with one of the best build qualities ever in indian hatch seg.
But as a practical car, this car is better, I except 😅
