I'd love to see a flight into Sarasota, especially with I believe the 4 new gates they have added. Apparently within the last few years it qualified as the fastest growing airport in the US. 🐯
Hi Peter! Question for you: last week I flew from LAX to ATL on Delta and I was pleasantly surprised to see the Sky Club had an open-air seating area. It was a nice morning so it was quite crowded. Are these the same people who fly coast to coast with the window shade down? Anyway, do you know of other open air areas at other airports?
I just went to Google maps and I did a street view of SFO. Fortunately, they have a "boat view" surrounding the airport so you can see the airport from the water. The runways all have a seawall of rocks indicating that there is no water under the runways. The runways do stretch out into the water, however no water appears to go under them. This is very similar to runway 4L at JFK. At LGA runways 22 and 13 do have visible stilts that support the runway piers over the water. You can see under the runways on these piers. This is not seen at SFO, according to what I see on Google maps.

i'm glad LaGuardia is not a garbage land anymore. I really hope i can use this airport again for leisure travel

Some Delta Sky Clubs at JFK, LGA, SLC, MSP and ATL have outdoor sky decks, as far as I know..
