Thank you for these lessons, the bottom turn tutorial was incredible, the hand slap on water was a key skill i didn’t know of.
We would love to see a backside bottom turn tutorial as well, to hammer in those foundational skills!

This is well explained and encapsulates everything I think of when doing fs airs. I struggle with air reverses and would love to see a tutorial on those.

Thanks for another great tutorial Pat! Your bottom turn one is by far the best I've found, you've really helped changed my surfing since I saw that one. Huge! Thanks again

How do you stop from flying out the back of the wave and keeping the board fully connected to your feet?

What they (pros) do to air they can’t explain because it was learned it intuitively (I think), but luckily a wakeboarder told me how to air waves with boards, and the key is staying stiff through the impact , I can see the pros then ‘ollie’ after this but if you didn’t know this tidbit you can’t see it because it looks fluid and one motion. And if your a skateboarder and didn’t know this you wouldn’t be able to air off waves by trying to Ollie the board. (Before the stiffening of legs though impact of wave to propel up).
