That would be ideal, but since he’s moving so far itll become more hassle than it’s worth with managing it remotely!!
@@user-bo7du8fs2n sure, but with everything there is risk; and reward that to me in this case is worth it. selling it might be nice right now, but in many counties its not easy to get a new one; or if they are able to get that one back for a good price it won't be the same for what he got it. this is especially true if they say ok we are staying in the UK, and have nowhere to live besides air bnb's or maybe the parents home which is a steel if they don't have to pay for rent etc. for example, i go buy a house now that is hopefully cheap within my price range that ends up being my dream home; but then i decide to sell it later for around the same or higher the price i payed for it. once i leave, and theb decide to get it back or any other house it will be double if not tripe the price. something that i would've payed 6k with a loan interest of lets say 6% for a house that is prob. 11k paying it off over time, and then selling it could then within the market of buying a new or previous house would prob. go up to 22-33k within weeks.
Yeah I got a good price for it and rents in my area are dreadful compared to house prices - so the yield wouldn’t be worth keeping it. So I’m pulling the money out & reinvesting in the USA :)

Now that I think about it, worst case scenario couldn’t you live with your parents when you get back to the UK!?
I would never understand the logic of NOT doing so , as a south east Asian ! It’s a win win. You get to live rent free so you save money plus you have parents around for sometime. Which is like the best part about all of this.
I too will take advantage, and I am Asian so for me I’d be the best bet as I build up the income. Also one thing I wonder, is yes even if you do move to the United States with your other visa once a chance with door citizenship renting it out would probably be a good idea so that you’re making a lot of income that can be used to Pay off certain expenses. I do not know where they are in deciding to possibly live, but I do feel like London would probably be better/UK would be better as they have NHS; versus here in the states things cost a lot. I remember watching a video recently with British people being shocked at how much we have to pay, and saying you got to be mad… While I am thinking in the back of my head here that’s basically normal.
@@u140550 honestly not from NHS pov, as a foreigner to USA and to UK i would choose UK for my personal sanity and safety. USA is turning bizarre by the minute. They’re killing their own. And from what I’ve heard of my fellow friends and family ( except those who migrated there 3 decades back ) it’s honestly not wise to stay in USA long term starting now. However that’s for them to decide. From what I know and follow, they’re going to be staying in the USA. And you’re right about the expenses part. USA is very expensive. Especially health care. A simple delivery takes around 2000 to 3000 dollars in India approximately ( even if you go to a posh hospital ). Tops 3500 dollars. One of my moms cousins delivered a baby girl some months back , the hospital bill was 40000 dollars plus. I guess she did have some complications and then had to do an emergency c section etc. But still? I don’t know how insurance worked for this. But when you convert, it’s HELLLLLLLA expensive. It’s crazy.
@@sanjanamisar i live in america, so i know. i was born here, and yup its not great; although as i said that is the norm. if i was ever to move to a different country, and get dual citizenship the UK would be my bet as NHS will save me a lot.

Moving from UK to US? You seem like a nice solid couple and I have really enjoyed watching your videos. Just remember to save 99% of your income for "NHS" and your kid's education. In UK you'll be fine...in US even with health insurance etc,🙏🙏.

Hi! I know this is super random, but I was watching your past videos. I noticed that you traveled to the US after your k1 visa was filed and was in the process. I heard that people usually get questioned at the border when they visit the US while the k1 visa is pending, even with a valid ESTA. Was Sam questioned at all when entering the US while the k1 visa was in process? Did the immigration officer even mention it? My fiancé and I are about to file and I’m gutted that I won’t be able to visit her while the papers are in process.

If your fiancé's has had his covid vaccinations ,this is taking way too long to process his application for a visa. US = snail processing.
It’s the US Embassy in London that’s the issue - there’s literally multiple lawsuits trying to speed it all up 😳 we’re just waiting and staying positive :)
