True Kingsland is beautiful. But the wealthiest or Wealthy Zambians dont live in such. They have massive land in the outskirts with Super Mega Mansions. They Live privately. Then we have the "Rich" that live around Lusaka but not in Gated Communities. KingsLand is for the Upper Class yes. Check out Roma Park too. Its beautiful too.
You need to move around Lusaka a little bit more. The well-to-do hide in: New Kasama, State Lodge, Chifwema, Kabulonga, Sunningdale, Roma Park, and Eureka Park. Visit Roma Park and Eureka Park.
It also depends how you look at it because some have traveled to earn more money in other countries so they can come back and build. As for government officials owning some of the exclusive assets we I won’t mention that because it comes from tax payers. Conclusion these houses are beautiful🙌🏽
No Nigeria is already there interms of infrastructure, you people you are doing fine anyway!we are just trying to do what is supposed to be done and to do it the right way.
This is a well developed , well planned and futuristic neighborhood. The rich in Zambia don't live here though, those stands afe rather small for the rich Zambians.
I left Lusaka for school several years ago, and haven't been back. I've never heard of this place. 🤔 It looks like a fairly new development targeted at urban professionals and ex-pats. But in our country, the wealthy mainly live on private million-dollar properties on private yards or farmlands, not Chinese-built apartments. This development looks very good though, but not quite the upper class.
I like the area and idea of building tile mark. This is development. I grow in Zambia I left 1976 for Europe. I am still here. Originally from Malawi where I was born. I went to Zambia 1989. It was so bad economic. Then Mwanawasa took the country. He changed the country. Last year went to Zambia, Lusaka. Was surprised to see how Lusaka has changed. Especially I was impressed of roads. To the say the truth my country Malawi was planned well the city of Lilongwe was planned by South Africa and Kamuzu. It was going to be modern city. All that changed when democracy came. Today Lilongwe has no plan. Corruption has taken place. People build the way they want with very bad wall fences. In Zambia banks are better and also good mortgages. And also there many banks. I admire the country I left. But still love my Malawi and hope one day Lilongwe will be like this.
@@beatricewinnberg9577 Malawi and Zambians are the same people, we are blood brothers. We also wish for the prosperity of our neighbours in Malawi. Mwanawasa certainly did his part to uplift this country but unfortunately, after his death, this country endured a decade of tyranny, peaking during Edgar Lungu's presidency. This country would have been far more developed by now, if we didn't waste 10 years, borrowing and wasting billions. It's mainly the wealthy who are benefitting from our development, and wealth disparity is very high. We still have the same problems like over 50% of Zambians are hungry and barely make a decent income. Most people in rural areas are barely benefitting at all and still look the same as they did a very long time ago. But hopefully, our new President will put us back on track and take us forward over the next 5 or 10 years.
I just noticed ua channel recently and subscribed. I am proud of you and thanks for ua good work. i was in Zambia for few days and didn't get a chance to visit all those places. I stayed in Lusaka for only a day and spent a week in MPIKA.
Hi, Sister Tigress Am not surprised the beauty of our motherland. Forty two years ago when i was in Accra, I was meant to see famine and Tarzan. Not only I didn’t see it but I also knew that the racist propaganda warfare of the west would use all its lies and unjustly acts to misguide you and I didn’t fall for it. Mama Africa like anywhere across the world has her ups and downs. Abidjan to Rabat and Accra to Timbuktu with their lovely houses, hotels, schools, streets, lakesides and hillsides. Beautiful houses in Lusaka so so so beautiful.

Ibex Hill ?!? Really ?!? 👏🏾 (I lived in Ibex Hill 4 decades ago and super-excited that it’s as beautiful now as it was then. 🙏🏾) Thanks for information.
Interesting documentary but that's by far where you will find the wealthiest people in Zambia 🇿🇲 honestly. Kingsland is more of an organised living estate.zambia's wealthiest live in farmlands far from the town noises.
Who claims that Africa lacks attractive locations or modern cities to reside in and work in? Kingsland City is a wonderful estate and is quite calm; I hope to live there one day, soon., I must test all African countries' way of living
That's great, keep on selling Africa. Honestly the city is absolutely illuminating and looks more attractive.✈Soon and very soon I will be jetting there.
Brilliant video with a refreshing future centric outlook to my beloved Zambia, congratulations to the Channel for this immersive video, I felt like I was there and Kingsland city for the ambition and disruptive home designs!

You're very right.
You are right. She doesn't know the social stratification of Zambia
You are absolutely right
You can not compare Kingsland to Roma I live in Kingsland city and they're big dawgs with money 💲
Zambia is amazingly beautiful! I enjoy seeing the other side of Africa we don't see on Tv's...YES WE CAN!! Much love from Kenya
Africa they don't show you on western media Africa is beautiful
The rich Zambians don't like staying in close up hoods but isolated from the rest of the population in the farms , beautiful neighborhood though
everyone seems to be agreeing with you

How about Salama Park?
Agreed. Kingsland is over hyped.
When you just pass the entrance of Roma Park you will even know that this is a residential area for the rich.
Especially sunningdale
