I ordered one and sent it back. Looked goofy on me with it's little brim and pinch front crown.

Not a criticism, my friend, just an observation. We all have our subjective opinions and have to go with what we're comfortable with. But, I've had to get other people's opinions many times on how I looked wearing things. I tried on a Homburg once and my wife said, yuck. But, I tried on a Gus, which I always thought would look terrible on me, and she thought it looked amazing. I was genuinely shocked. Often we're our own worst critics. I seriously doubt you looked goofy. I'd be willing to bet, if polled, a dozen pretty ladies would have thought you looked like a million bucks. But, hey, the whole point of dressing well is to feel good about oneself and project the best person we can be. And, if you're more comfortable with another style, that's quite alright.
