Oh my goodnesss!!! We went from a family of five to a family of seven, seven months ago. The last seven months have NOT been easy, but, they have been amazing. It has bee so easy to fall in love with our two heart girls. Our daughter's had been separated and we were able to reunite them. Now we have two that are 16, a 15, a 14 and a 10 year old. Get ready for life to become even crazier but better.

Mary are you not home by yourself now that Peter is working full time outside of the home? Are you ok to do this by yourself? I will pray for all of you
We have fostered 10 children and adopted 6. It’s a journey. Good luck to you all! Our license is closed and will stay that way (6 is enough!). It’s very hard. But, much needed. And you guys will be wonderful at this I’m sure!
Foster care is the hardest most heartbreaking most wonderful thing. Your hearts will fill with love then shatter when they leave. It is a wonderful journey you will never forget. Just know when the nights are long and the days are hard, God only calls his strongest soldiers for this job. Be patient as the new one will require lots of attention. Be patient as Elijah will get jealous. God be with you on this journey of helping the least of these young sweet soles. God bless.
I’m so happy for you and I know you can do this! I have CF and CFRD. I have 12 month old twins and a 6 year old. My husband works long hours and I stay home with the kids now (I was a lab tech before I had my twins.) Being a stay at home mom is the hardest job (especially with CF) but it’s also rewarding. CF makes us stronger in many ways! Thank you for sharing what you can!
I can't imagine anyone more perfectly suited for foster parenting than you two! With as much love and joy as you have to give, any child placed in your care will be fortunate indeed. I'm so excited over your new adventure, and pray the Lord's blessing on you as parents and on each child whose life is influenced by you.
It may be hard to foster a child/children in a home that shares so much if it's life online. You were lucky with your adoption that it was open, and you were allowed to show Elijah's as soon as you did. Most people will understand why that is the rule but others can be difficult about why you wont. As wonderful as foster parenting can be when you are stepping in to fill in that gap when a parent cannot and provide love and security, bonds and stability, it can also be hard on you when the time may come when a foster child has to move on. So much more foster care these days are a bridge to reunification with a parent or if that is not going to happen it can simply be a holding placement pending moving on to adoptive parents, letting go can be a lot of grief to deal with. It can also be extremely hard on young children of your own who may have no ability to understand why a foster sibling comes abd then goes. We actually suspended our license after our youngest really struggled when the foster baby moved on, expecting the same would also happen to her. She eventually came to understand with lots of play therapy and simply aging to the point where she understood there was a difference between her being a permanent family member and what it meant to be a foster child, and foster siblings were not meant to stay while she always would.

So many children in need that fall through the cracks. Its great that you opened your home and hearts to children in need . It will be hard when you have to give them back, but it will be worth all the joy you will also experience. Stay blessed 💜.

Honestly I wouldn't vlog my adopted child either. It doesn't matter that I am legally allowed to. I haven't shared a single picture or video of my adopted children where you can see their faces. And they are teenagers now. When they will be legally adult I will ask for their consent to do so because I don't OWN their lives, memories, gaffes, etc. for the whole world to see. It's their decision . And that's the fact that now exist face recognition technology so it's getting easier and easier to find people and all their informations by their likelihood and it wouldn't be safe for minors, expecially adopted since most of them come from trauma
For vlogging, you should check on still being able to vlog the child, just no face, and you give a nickname to use for the vlogs, and only like general information, like what your doing as a family in the moment. I've seen this on a lot of foster pages. Just a thought to check into. :-)

I think its so great yall are going to be foster parents!! I grew up in the system and my first foster parents left a huge impact on my life. The downside is you won't be able to share the child with us. But I know the kid will be well taken care of in your house.

I love your perspective about sometomes your passions dont come until a decade later and that your so much better positioned than you were then! Such a great peice of wisdom and also very relatable!
The little babies that come into your care will be so blessed & loved! I was adopted as a newborn with my twin sister, and grew up with a fostered sister.
I’m watching it on my iPad so I’m like they have one child, but I see two car seats they I see the comment of “congratulations, on fostering a child”. I’m so happy for you.
Congratulations! So happy for you! I'm sure all of us who follow your lil family know that we only see small snippets of your life, whatever you do share is fine 🙂 ❤
2023 and we still have to have foster parents this is ridiculous that kids are still ending up in this situation thank God that there are people like you both out there in this world who will love everyone unconditionally Mary and Peter who make this world brighter and it's such a beautiful blessing to have people like you being foster parents so thank you for making your home bigger for children who wouldn't have a best life if it wasn't for your love kindness and support thank you for being such a wonderful beautiful gift of God on UA-cam and in your life
well what else do you suggest? If family members would step up and take these children then foster care would not be needed. Foster Care is overburdened
@@nancyfarkas3592 I wish people get their life together or accept they can't be a parent and just place their kid up for adoption or like what I went through have cps actually needs to stop taken kids under false claims and investigate better lucky for me they found nothing wrong but it's just ridiculous. We still have parents out there that shouldn't be parents that are birthing these kids and not choosing better from right from the gecko or have a program to help mom's b4 hand so they can keep kids with out having drug issues or something but like I said I feel like this should not be a thing it should be better way to fix this issue so so many kids don't end up in foster care or get more foster parents because there so many kids waiting for placement because their go many
@@nancyfarkas3592 most of the time cps doesn't want to put kids with family because of allegations against the parents they don't want the kids In Harm's Way where the parents can come over very easily

It’s so heartbreaking. So happy for this precious one coming into your life! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
🦋💜🙏🦋🧡✌️🦋🙏😊
I think its so great yall are going to be foster parents!! I grew up in the system and my first foster parents left a huge impact on my life. The downside is you won't be able to share the child with us. But I know the kid will be well taken care of in your house.
Congratulations on being able to do this big next step and hallelujah how amazing is the Lord for nurturing this dream and desire in your heart and knowing full well what he was about to do in your life's even if it look so different than you expected! I can't wait for what you can share about this new chapter and welcome to the Frey Life to all the (little) life's you will touch, seen on video or not. You are in my prayers!
You can video just can’t show the face I watch other people who foster then end up adopting then they show the face. Have you watched crazy pieces they have adopted so many kids they are a wonderful family
I can’t even think of a more loving family that could be foster parents! So blessed ❤️🇨🇦
Are you gonna foster to adopt?
I love your perspective about sometomes your passions dont come until a decade later and that your so much better positioned than you were then! Such a great peice of wisdom and also very relatable!
The little babies that come into your care will be so blessed & loved!
I was adopted as a newborn with my twin sister, and grew up with a fostered sister.
I’m so excited for you guys…. Much love❤❤❤❤
I’m watching it on my iPad so I’m like they have one child, but I see two car seats they I see the comment of “congratulations, on fostering a child”. I’m so happy for you.
Oh my goodness! How exciting!!
Only thing that sucks is the kids get close then get hurt when taken away
Lions roar bears growl ❤ lions and tigers and bears oh my 😂
Thanks for sharing what you can about fostering. Especially for those of us on the fence about it ❤️
Congratulations! So happy for you! I'm sure all of us who follow your lil family know that we only see small snippets of your life, whatever you do share is fine 🙂 ❤
You two are amazing and wonderful people blessing this little sweetie with a safe place.
That child is so fortunate to have you two as parents. Your journey of blessing others continues to grow.
This child is going to be lucky especially with this means BABY NUMBER 2 in the near future.. Coming soon in near year 10 perhaps ..
How do you fall in love with a foster and let him go
I’ve been watching you a very long time and rarely comment. Your home will be a wonderful placement for foster children.
9:14 older people do a similar thing. The 90 year old doesn't want to sit with the old people, or they help out the old person who is actually younger ❤❤
Why has ollie not been in the picture.
I just renewed my foster license today.
Congratulations! Thats so wonderful what you guys are doing! Love it! Do u think you guys would adopted again some day?
That's what I thought that this announcement was going to pave
The way for baby number two down the road..
It’s growl for the bear! 🐻

How exciting and awesome! Both Elijah and this little one are blessed to have you both!❤
If this a way to get 300K subscribers to join the series.. That will be great..
