The winner of each Knockout Round will move on to the Final, the remaining spots will be filled by the 2 highest scoring skaters who did not win their group.

Group 02: Braden Hoban, Filipe Mota, Daiki Ikeda, Gustavo Ribeiro, Felipe Gustavo
Group 03: Dominick Walker, Lucas Rabelo, Jamie Foy, Dashawn Jordan, Nyjah Huston
Group 04: Ryan Decenzo, Alex Midler, Chris Joslin, Vincent Milou, Giovanni Vianna

Joslin‘s runs always the coolest ones. He is the only one who completely switches the tricks. Way more difficult.

Bummed that Joslin didn't make it in but, regardless, fun as hell to watch as always!
Even the Paris crowd could see the bias. French skaters get 9's for runs w/ bails and the Americans, outside of Nyjah, all get shafted on 9 runs or tricks. Foy got screwed too.

How is T-pud still invited to these and Ivan Monteiro isn’t?
I think Ivan Monteiro can skate if he wants to, but he doesn't show up to these events anymore. There is prelims and qualifiers that pretty much anyone can show up to as long as you're a pro skater and sponsored.. You don't really see Tom Asta, Louie Lopez, Mark Suciu, Mario Mccoy, Angelo Caro, Tiago Lemos, Chaz Ortiz and a lot of the those guys anymore so it's not just Ivan Monteiro it's like everyone too

No disrespect to any of these guys but I gotta admit i'm a little bummed out that so many of them get off their boards in the line sections. It's supposed to be a "line" ie a series of tricks where you just flow. Don't get me wrong they're gnarly AF but are they really doing lines? or just back to back single tricks. I feel like a few more points need to come off your score when you step off your board. If i'm the only one bummed by this I'll shut up, but just something I thought needed to be mentioned. All respect to these amazing skaters and athletes
tbf all theyre doing is saving time... there's no point staying on the board to cruise round the ends of the park. if it were quarters and flat banks i'd probably take more issue but even then
I think it’s kind of the course. There isn’t anywhere to gain speed. Is there even a quarter pipe?
Big speed and big air should score as high as some of the technical stuff simply B/C it's more dangerous.

Why doesn't SLS put the rider's stance by their name during the run, on the timer overlay? E.g., Sora Shirai (g). They only show the stances in the introductions but that's not very helpful during the run.
kinda didnt like how the judges gave netsuki a 9.1 for a 180 late bigspin, but a 8.4 for hofler that did a perfect kickflip bs tail to big spin thats a freaking 2 trick combination on a GRIND. Smh 🤦🏻

I don't understand how you can call a frontside overcook a nosegrind then say backside overcrook wtf hahaha
No such thing as a frontside over crook. They’re only done backside. A tweaked frontside nose grind leaning towards an “over crook” is still a nose grind because they’re easier to hold than a backside over crook. Front crook is still a front crook though. I don’t make up the rules. That’s simply what it is.
@@steveferreira4953 I still don't see why that's the case. A back crook is easier than a front crook, and even though one is easier, both should still exist.
Idk i think fs overcrooks are a thing..Like doing an ollie over the rail to a bs or fs crook is a overcrook.. i think its just hard to get a stright nose grind...We cant replace fs overcrook for 'stylish tweaked nose grind'

How does a 360 flip to hurricane only score a 8.2?!
I'm thinking if they can introduce a new concept for when a skater needs a certain score. For example, if a skater needs a 9 to jump to first, I wonder if they can allow the skater to ask if they do a particular trick, what score they would get to it. That way if they can get confirmation they would get a 9 for a certain trick, then they can know for sure that the specific trick would be enough to jump them to first.
Or maybe street league can start to put out a list of what each trick scores that way it's pre-determined what you would get for a trick if you do it. That way you can study what tricks score the highest and just put your energy practicing those specific tricks. I know that sometimes tricks can be under or over-scored, so if they have a pre-determined list of what you get for each trick, the judging can be consistent. Of course they would get full points for doing the trick perfectly and less if it's done imperfectly.
@@gman6572 interesting but i think it would kinda removed the excitement of it, plus i can see it getting real controversial over someone not getting a perfect score (for the trick) if the judges didnt like the style

Anyone know is they test for PEDs? B/C if they don't a lot of these guys could use some science. Helps everything athletically but especially recovery and healing. Especially the guys out there in their 30's.
