Okay. I think I just added the best kit available on Amazon to my description. Please click the link in the description and it will go to support my channel. Thanks for watching!
I just bought one like this but the information on their site is: Outside Dimensions are 52”x 22" standing 19" off the ground. Inside dimensions are 46"x19"x4.5". Comes with Biometric Lock that can save up to 20 finger prints. Unit includes customizable 1" kaizen foam. Comes with USB cord if the battery Dies. Cost me $699.00 OK now back to watching the Super Bowl.
You're right. It's not safe from theft but it isn't designed to be and I I didn't claim it was. No wooden concealment item out there with any type of lock is going to keep someone from giving it a slight tug or just taking the whole thing and sawing it open. This is not a safe. The lock is designed to deter nosy people and curious children. I would never have this around my kids if it had something dangerous in it but I made this for friends that have no kids and don't get kid visitors. All other risks are on them.
Thanks. I'll have to check those locks out for any future projects. I have this item listed for $600 but I've only made the two in this video. It seems like concealment items have a solid demand, but I don't really want to be the guy that sells them to be honest.
You're an eagle eyed observer but I promise the final product had 13. In the video, I had to add the last stripe later for reasons I can't quite remember. I think our has something to do with having the wrong size backing/having to improvise. Thanks for watching!
Excellent video! Just a quick question, for the backer board on the flag, did you use 1/4 plywood? And if so, did you customize the border around the flag to cover both the backer board and the flag on the edges? Thanks!
Yes. Backer board is in the 1/4 inch category although it's most likely thinner than a true quarter inch. But either way, I did customize the edge trim to cover both the flag edge and the backer edge. Thanks for watching!
I just came across this and loved how you did it. Im trying to make one of these for my high school shop class but I can’t find anything on the type of drawer slides I need could you tell we where you got yours or what type they are?
Wow, hard to find a high school with a shop class!. I know I bought the soft close drawer slides from the Home Depot but I'm not quite sure what length. It must be 18" or 20". I was worried about having such a heavy door hanging off the back too far so I feel like I went with 18". Thanks for watching!
Just found your channel it’s really awesome love your product Hope you continue to make videos they are really really great thanks a lot for doing what you do for those of us that need that brought up
There's a link to my Facebook business page in the description. I think I listed this one at $600 but right now, I only do local orders. I operate out of Greensboro, NC. If you're close enough to pick it up, you can contact me through the FB page. Thank for watching!
O ok thank you, that’s where I got mine but they only had up to 37 but maybe I was looking at the wrong kit, or didn’t look hard enough! Thank you the table looks great!
This is awesome great job! Are you able to leave a list of materials, and cut list needed for this project and where you got everything? I would love to try and build one
Sure thing. Next time I'm infront of the computer, I will do my best to jot down the materials and dimensions in the description and I'll let you know. Thanks for checking out the video!
@@wooddoofus sure thing. I’m working on two flags right now. Once I get those done I’ll try jumping onto this project. I’ve had to wait as its been raining where I live and I dont have a garage to work in lol
Thanks. Yeah, there are some better designs for hiding the compartment. I was just trying to make the contents out of sight and safe (ish). If I ever make another one, I will revaluate the design.
Nice work! However, when making a 'Concealment' piece the whole point of 'Concealment' is to make it look like a normal piece of furniture, the padlock totally gives it away, there are several different ways you could've made that happen.
This just popped up in my recommended. I am now here for the long haul.
Thanks for checking it out!
You did an amazing job. Can you line the stencil you used for the union?

@@wooddoofus thank you for your excellent video and your help with the link.
Nice job. Just started making flags myself but wanted to make something like this for myself. How deep is the compartment?
The depth of the box ended up being about 4.5 inches. I used 2 inch foam from Carolina Custom Foam online. Thanks for watching!
Thank you!
Can't think of a better way to waste my time at work.
Hey This is Adam's son and you are a bozo!
Hehe. I told them to tie that.
What size draw slides do you use?
18" or 20" should both work. I think I used 18" so it wouldn't hang off too far.
@@wooddoofus thank you for the response!
@@paulmaffetone6977 no problem. Thanks for watching!

Cool! That's a good price. I charged less for these but only bc I had not made any before and they were for a couple friends. Enjoy the Football!

As someone who watches way more woodworking videos than completing actual projects, I can say yours are the best. Great job man!
Thanks Buddy! I hope you are doing well.
On the subdued firefighter flag it looks like you put only 12 stripes on the flag and not 13.

I get mine off of Amazon. There should be a link in the description of my latest video. The one with the flag frame.

Nice looking table, but isn't the idea behind a concealment table is that the compartment is HIDDEN? That lock dangling there is kind of a give away.
