Good reaction. Yes, the song lyrics are a mish-mash of various old rockers. The liner notes say "just a few roots replanted. The back-and-forth between Blackmore (guitar) and Lord (keyboards) was a staple of those early Mk 2 songs.
I can not get enough of that dirty Hammond sound in these songs. Definitely a fun one to listen to. Take care! ✌️
