I am a drummer in a four-person band. Due to my bad back over the years, I was getting to a point where it was hard for me to carry my drum set and all the amplifiers for the group. We decided to ditch all of our older amps and go for this set up with two of the L1. It is a lot better easier for us and the sounds are the same or better. I also switch my carrying the whole drum set to Roland drum pad, SPD30. Now our band still able to jam and save our backs from hurting. Ha ha ha....
Finally, somone who was capable of providing a good demo. All the other(Independent) demos-if they are done at all suck. This is a very good, for low budget, example of this unit. I use mine for guitar synthizer. It is 100xs better than running it through a 5,000 all tube guitar amp. Thank you-Great job.Bose has come a long way in the ten years you discussed. These things can go for well over 1,000 these days. In addition, you are getting more p.a. for yor money as well. For an average home pratice or recording the L1 system is fantastic, like you said, you can change your mind with out breaking you back, in the event you decide to move it. Great job.-I wish more people would use you as a refrence point as an acceptable example for demonstration of a procuct.
If someone was stuck with one of these they could attach shims to the sides to make it stand up straight and steady. This would also help the connections. With the array standing straight up and down all the weight would be transferred to the bottom which would keep the connections flush and tighter. Just a thought.
I own the Bose L1 Compact and agree with your review! I use it to perform mostly acoustic sets with my friends, and also to listen to music, sometimes loud, LOL
@@timknguyen if I have a soundbar , sub woofer and rears already connected to my TV can I just simply add this unit or would I have to get rid of the one I have ? I don’t wanna lose the rear speakers is why.
Great video. Can I use the microphone input as my main input since it has bass and treble control? Does the bass and treble control just the microphone or does it control the whole speaker?
If I have a sound bar and sub with rears hooked up to my TV already can I just add this to it or would I have to drop the one I have ? The reason I want keep the one I have is the rear speakers.
If you have the wireless package for the L1 and one of the newer soundbars you can connect them together for music but not tv as there will be a slight delay
The Bose Sounds amazon for karaoke, especially the Bose S1 Pro. The L1 is amazing as well, however when it comes to karaoke-ing, you may need to add a little effect for the voice with the bose T1 tonematch. Or if you have a Bose S1 pro and a L1, you can output from the S1 pro over to the input on the L1 and it will sound amazing because the S1 pro has built in tone match
I knew the great BOSE era, the 802, the made in the USA. Here it breathes the made in china. Research done, BOSE does not have a factory in China, it is all under contract and much too expensive compared to the cost of labor.

Although you can adjust the time delay in the app for the sound bar so that they will be in sync for tv
any good for a keyboardist playing with a drummer, and a bassist, pop, rock, blues stuff mainly
Yes, I’ve used it for that purpose during rehearsing
Great review and very detailed. How about in comparison to the JBL EON 1. The other speaker. Which do you like better?

hi, I was wondering if the bose speaker was good for karaoke and can handle loud input.

name's song ??? Very good
Seriously! “Even a girl can carry it!” 🤦♀️ Thanks, Buddy! 🙄
What's going on? How about hello?
Even a girl can pick it up @4:49
Right. I have found that as a general rule women are not as strong as men when it comes to lifting heavy objects. Have you noticed that also?
@@johnpower2018 I think he's just embarrassed because he has to get women to pick things up for him
Are you sure a girl can pick it up? It's nearly thirty pounds! That's alot for an inferior little girl Lol wow just wow lol great review bro.
Lol. That was my thought at first. But yeah, a girl can :)
I've never had a girl ask me to left something cause it was too heavy. This never happens.
Even a girl!
